Seriously, it coerces you into exploring more than an artists back catalogue.

 

It is one rule i hated at the time when it affected me, but i wouldn't change it.

 

And as for DeadDisco/LittleBoots-Gate if we let this one through, how long is it until you get the line "but trash was allowed in XVII so why can't i....."

Which is why I wont be sending "Symmetry" even though I've been obsessed since the short clip was first posted. We should probably forget her unless it's a really good B-side or remix until the next album, at least.

that is the one downfall of BJSC that you have perfectly pinpointed...as we are forced to listen to all songs when we vote, I now have very few new tracks to look forward to when I buy the Little Boots album, I feel like I know the whole thing back to front already and it's not even out yet :/ the element of surprise is taken away...the same thing could be said about The Veronicas but I've had that album since November 2007 so already knew the tracks sent to BJSC back to front :lol:

Other than Ladyhawke as a featuring artist, neither have I. And I never would. I kind of want to go cheap(er than I usually would) next time but the artist in question has only been sent by myself. :kink:

That may become a little restrciting as time goes on - 12 contests a year and that limit if five can be reached quite quickly effectively banning that artist forever :o

Cheap jibes will be accepted, given I haven't sent anything particularly cheap (aside from Saint Etienne which was wilfully ignored by BJ seemingly :() since Rachel Stevens :P
