Pink will return with single "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)," the singer announced in a video on Tuesday.

 

"It's very exciting," she said, revealing she co-wrote the provocatively titled track with producer Greg Kurstin ( the Bird and the Bee, Kelly Clarkson).

 

"I think you're going to like it, because I really like it, and I like it enough for all of us," she said, making a face.

 

The track will arrive on July 9, with a new album to follow on RCA Records later this year.

 

Her forthcoming studio set will be her sixth overall and first since 2008's "Funhouse." That release debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart on 2008. It launched five hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100: "So What" (No. 1), "Sober" (No. 15), "Please Don't Leave Me" (No. 17), the title track (No. 44) and "Glitter in the Air" (No. 18). "Funhouse" has sold 1.96 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

 

She followed up the success of "Funhouse" with her first best-of album, "Greatest Hits . . . So Far!!!," which hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and has moved 995,000 units. That album's two singles, "Raise Your Glass" and "F**kin' Perfect," were also big Hot 100 hits. They reached Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.

Pink's Just Give Me A Reason (feat. Nate Ruess) marks time at number two - but after growing for eight weeks in a row, its sales decline by a third to 52,637. Even as it begins to cool, it leapfrogs from seventh to fourth in Pink's all-time best-sellers list, with overall sales of 377,822.

 

Ahead of it are only the number ones So What from 2008 (581,586 sales), the all-star collaboration Lady Marmalade from 2001 (with Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim and Mya, 548,911 sales) and - perhaps surprisingly - 2010 hit Raise Your Glass, which never climbed above its number 13 debut position but has sold 382,490 copies. Chart peaks aren't always a good indicator of long term sales, and although it peaked 10 places higher than Raise Your Glass, at number three, Pink's William Orbit collaboration Feel Good Time is only her 21st biggest hit, selling just 73,084 copies since its 2003 release. Available on its own digitally only as a 99p offcut from Pink - The Album Collection, it appears to have sold just five copies in the last year.

If Just Give Me a Reason was on 325,185 last week, placing it 7th on her all-time list, it means F*cking Perfect has sold more than 325k at the least.
