August 6, 200915 yr I highly doubt pixie has vocals to beat jades.... I don't think you can really compare their voices. They are probably two of the best female singers around. As far as the song is concerned, I think it may suit Pixie a little more... but the Pixie track hasn't been mastered/produced to the same extent and so has a different and, in my opinion, better backing track.

August 13, 200915 yr I was expecting something so different, I'm almost let down. Mostly because I hadn't heard any clips and I was just going off descriptions of what it was like. I assumed it's be just as 'punchy' and fierce as "My Man" and that that waitress line would be delivered so differently. I had imagined a cross between "Pucker Up", "Takin' Back My Love" and (of course) "Love In This Club", rather than one that's a bit like "Halo", "Irreplaceable" and "Love In This Club". That's not to say I dislike it though, it's clearly very catchy and probably better than "My Man" actually.

Release PO and then the album the following week instead of throwing it out randomly before Xmas.
August 14, 200915 yr just downloaded it, very very very good on first listen, I love the lyrics :wub: It is of course incredibly generic, and sounds exactly like a Tedder production, but it doesn't really matter because it's great :D
August 14, 200915 yr This forum is great, but it's interesting how an artist that is liked can get away with "generic", but an artist with a little less influence is slated for the same thing! Anyway, I love this song, I love 'My Man' and I hope she doesn't flop. (However, if the album is full of songs like these I will not buy it - can only take so much!)
