June 7, 200916 yr Has Debra just won Kate the task by correctly IMHO pointing out the brand name of Intimacy is awful for a box of chocolates.
June 7, 200916 yr Has Debra just won Kate the task by correctly IMHO pointing out the brand name of Intimacy is awful for a box of chocolates. Hmm I don't know, Yasmina has the direct commercial route with her product me thinks, Kate's product seems pretty poor. I guess it's how they present it.
June 7, 200916 yr This is surely not even going to be close, it looks like Yasmina is losing this big time. :( Then again at the Comic Relief Apprentice 2009 I thought the boys were going to win so what do I know.
June 7, 200916 yr Tough call - both had their good points and the terrible points! For me, Kate was best (sadly as I think Yasmina is better overall). It is great to see everyone back though!
June 7, 200916 yr The highlight for me in this episode is the deluded comedy genius that is Phillip. Pants Man has been largely useless in the Apprentice, but his talent is wasted, he should be a dance choreographer for Britney Spears or someone else like that. :kink:
June 7, 200916 yr Yessss! Best decision ever by Surallun! I was so sure he would hire Kate, but glad he saw through her in the end.

I know nothing. So SirAllun has gone against type, and taken a chance. Personally, I think this is completely the right result. I wonder whether what happened with his choice in Series 2, when Michelle became pregnant by a fellow Apprentice candidate, that put him off going for Kate.
June 7, 200916 yr What an absolute joke. Worst ever decision made by him I think. Kate was consistant all the way through...whereas Yasmina just seemed a bit ordinary. With this decision AND the departure of Margaret I don't even know if I'll watch it next year tbh.
June 7, 200916 yr I really wanted Kate to win before tonight - but suspected all along that Yasmina would win. However .... Yasmina had James, Lorraine & and the lovely Howard on her team so I wanted her to win for that alone! I knew as it was progressing that she'd win. The price-point thing did it for Kate (was it last year or the year before that the pricing on the men's fragrance lost it for the runner up?) At the end of the day though ... I think Sir Allan had made his mind up weeks ago who was going to win - the final task has no bearing at all on the result. Yasmina's pitch was embarrassing to watch - Kate was so much more professional. And as far as the product - you get what you pay for - Kate's chocolates were fabulous and I'm sure that people would come back for a second box. Yasmina's on the other hand - well you heard what the buyer from Waitrose said! I remember Badger and the awful Dewberry a few years ago with their task. Badger's night of fun at Tower Bridge was way, way more successful than 'bambi-face' and yet she still lost. I also thought it was a huge insult of Sir Allan to say that these two were be the best finalists ever - surely an overstatement - when Saira and Ruth Badger from 1 & 2 would pee all over these two! That's my two-penneth worth anyway! Having said all of that - congratulations to the BBC for putting on another 10 weeks of excruciatingly embarrassing, cringeworthy, absolutely excellent entertainment! Norma

That ... and as one TV pundit said yesterday ... could Sir Allan really stand Kate taking Phil to the Christmas party every year for the next ten years or so ... enthralling everyone with his 'pants-man' routine! Norma
