June 7, 200916 yr I am so happy right now! This definitely makes up for the huge injustice of Debra not making it through last week. More than ever tonight we saw just how mechanical Kate was, and I believe that the most important element of a successful colleague and business person is being personable. Sir Alan may be 'scary' and 'tough' but underneath he's the sort of person who people will get along with, as is Yasmina. It'd be hard for Kate's colleagues to warm to her I think. Everything about Yasmina was more endearing, even being nervous during her presentation when Kate was slick and pre-programmed. Shocked but very, very happy. :D You're Hired was a lot of fun tonight too. I laughed so hard at Margaret's reaction to JR suggesting Nick might lick chocolates off her :heehee: She looked repulsed! Amazing. I really will miss her. Nobody will ever be as quietly, delightfully observational as Margaret and no pairing will ever match hers with Nick but I do hope Alan brings in Karen from the interview stage next year. She's very funny.

June 8, 200916 yr The highlight for me in this episode is the deluded comedy genius that is Phillip. Pants Man has been largely useless in the Apprentice, but his talent is wasted, he should be a dance choreographer for Britney Spears or someone else like that. :kink: I just couldn't believe he was still banging on about what a great idea Pants Man was.... Jesus, Phil GET OVER IT...... I'd have a bit more respect for the bloke if he just admitted it was plain daft and ill-advised..... Kate may have a lot of business acumen or whatever, but she sure has absolutely NO TASTE WHATSOEVER in men..... Glad Yasmina won in the end, Kate was simply too much of a "Yes Man" to win it.... Alan clearly likes someone with a bit of fight..... I rather think he's learned his lesson from the equally robotic Michelle.....
June 8, 200916 yr I'm disappointed that Kate didn't win. She has been the best right through along with Lorraine. I think Yasmina is greedy, she already has a business.

That is in reality what any Apprentice winner is going to have to be to work for Sugar though Do you think Yasmina will have any real authority or executive power in terms of Sugar ? she or Kate had she won would be nothing more than a glorified saleswoman with Sugar making all the big decisions Did you see that documentary on Sugar a few months back where they followed him around for a week or something and sat in on his meetings and so on for a touch screen device ? Sugar was over ruling everyone and anyone that tried to raise any objections was talked over and patronised and couldn't get a word in edgeways and these are Sugar's technical directors so will Yasmina get any autonomy ? hell will freeze over mate, she has been hired as a 100k a year saleswoman
June 8, 200916 yr thoughroughly enjoyed this seriese, im gonna miss these guys especially james :) , his parting comment 'it was brilliant' was class.
June 8, 200916 yr Never though id be saying this but wow SAS actually hired the right person. Through the contest Yasmina has been the best candidate IMO, even with that blip in week 4 she was still head and shoulders above most of them. Didnt think she'd win though, especially with Phil on her team. Kate was a worthy finalist though but Yasmina was just a little bit better.
June 8, 200916 yr I was writing things on my twitter about how crap Yasmina was and how Kate should've won...now Yasmina has started following me! :/ I think I might have a celebrity (well, sort of) enemy in the not too distant future!

June 8, 200916 yr It's a bit sad that you were dissing a reality TV show winner on twitter isn't it? :heehee: Anyway care to provide a link to her profile? Because as far as I can see she's not on Twitter...

Because as far as I can see she's not on Twitter... It is, especially as at least she had a personality. As I read elsewhere, the BBC/Apprentice production team should have used this track to advertise the finale. :heehee: SfckrfOYAy4
June 8, 200916 yr Hahahaha! Keep it up, I want to see if she says anything! I tweeted @Yasmina saying that although I wanted Kate to win, I could empathise with her stage fright...she hasn't tweeted back yet though! :( It's a bit sad that you were dissing a reality TV show winner on twitter isn't it? :heehee: Anyway care to provide a link to her profile? Because as far as I can see she's not on Twitter... First of all, I didn't say I 'dissed' her, all I said was that I wanted Kate to win and I didn't think Yasmina deserved to, which she quite obviously didn't imo. And as far as it being 'sad', I don't see how it's any more sad than us all airing our views of candidates on an internet forum - it's practically the same thing, no? Anyway, here is her twitter: http://twitter.com/yasminasiadatan It is, especially as at least she had a personality. This whole 'no personality' thing really is ridiculous. The Apprentice is about employing someone who would do well in Alan Sugar's business, it shouldn't be anything to do with personality at all. If you want personalities, watch Big Brother. Having said that, I do not agree with Kate being devoid of a personality at all. In many of the tasks it was evident she was having a good time (i.e the task in which her, Phil and Ben were a sub-group), surely someone with no personality can't show emotion? Kate was consistant throughout the whole series and seemed a genuine, likeable character, (much more so than Yasmina) who seemed brilliant in every single task. What I don't understand is how people can say that her being 'too good' is negative - surely in the world of business, you can never be too good? The better businessman you are, the more sales generated. This, I feel is a more appropriate song for the final (obviously relating to Kate): n1wnOUH2jk8
June 8, 200916 yr That twitter page isn't real. Notice how it was only made after she'd won... :heehee: If it was genuine it'd be a massive coincidence that she only started twittering since the finale aired! And as if she'd use a screencap of the Apprentice website's profile on her as her background. Sorry to burst the bubble. :P

June 9, 200916 yr Yasmina just edged it, a deserved win against some exceptionally strong candidates compared to previous years.
June 9, 200916 yr Kate was only consitant if you forget the whole not selling anything in week 7 (Yasmina sold around £400) and the disaster in week 2 "I've heard of blinis..."
