June 8, 200916 yr So why has she charted already? Few weeks ago, the track was available on iTunes, that's when it made to 71. There were 2 versions charting (from the single and from the soundtrack), the song from the digital single was removed during that week... (that was 1 version down) A week later, iTunes made the other song charting "album only" which means you have to buy the whole album (which was the soundtrack) to get the track you wanted... (no more available then until possibly today or next week) :( Edited June 8, 200916 yr by FunMaker11
June 8, 200916 yr Top 100 is updated now and Aly placebo are 99 :o 2 places lower than their peak Edited June 8, 200916 yr by RobDeMusicMan
June 8, 200916 yr I suppose we might have Lady Gaga, Pussycat Dolls and Saturdays in the top40 next week. Very doubtful about Sats though: they don't chart very high in iLoons while Lady Gaga might enter even in the Top30. Pet Shop Boys will defo fall out very quickly, I'm doubtful about even Top-75. I just don't get: both Love etc. and Did You See Me Coming are good synthpop tracks, they deserve to be hits. Why did they flop? I'm sure that if these songs were sung by relevant and hyped now artist, they would be hits.
June 9, 200916 yr Pixie not Top 75. So no need to change my answer to a bonus question. :D She surely sold enough on Saturday for T200 though, and if as seems likely she's #1 on Sunday, would set one of the biggest climbs to that position... Edited June 9, 200916 yr by vidcapper

June 9, 200916 yr It flopped-ish. By rights, boths songs should have been top 10. I bet they're still smarting from being number 1 on the album midweeks all week with Yes, and ending up at number 4. :nocheer: The British public really doesn't value our musical legends anymore :(
June 9, 200916 yr i think the reason that their music hasn't been doing so well is because it's the same as what they used to do and years later they needed a modern twist which they just didn't have. IMO La Roux is the modern day version od PSB. Do you think DYSMC? sounds like The Loving Kind by GA at the start. I guess it's the xenomania connection.
June 9, 200916 yr I know what you mean... weirdly it sounds a bit like Scooch - Flying The Flag too  What makes La Roux more modern though? IFTK is straight out of 1981. Bulletproof sounds like a Spectrum game. I would say PSBs production is way more modern...
