I'm just thinking about acts that have had 3 or more consecutive silver selling singles (200k+), as this is a huge achievement in the age where only a fantastic song will reward you with a big hit, and where fanbase top 5 hits are a thing of the past

I've thought of Beyonce (If I Were A Boy, Single Ladies, Halo) and The Saturdays (Up, Issues, Just Can't Get Enough)

does anyone know of any others, I'm just interested to know!?!

she only needs to sell 150k more with Paparazzi and i think that's a definite.

Im pretty sure Atomic Kitten had 4. Whole Again, Eternal Flame, It's OK, The Tide Is High. but i'm not 100% sure on that one...

I guess Shaggy could have had 3 in 2001 but I don't know how much Luv Me Luv Me sold

Leona had 3: A Moment Like This, Bleeding Love, Better In Time/Footprints In The Sand.

What's Forgive Me's current total?

if it's over 200k she could have had 5 in a row :o I'm inclined to say ATB as well but I don't know if Killer ever topped 200k, I'm certain that Don't Stop did though

Vengaboys (6)

Up And Down

We Like To Party (The Vengabus)

We're Going To Ibiza

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom

I'm sure loads of acts have achived this, especially in the late 90s, when you look at the likes of Steps, B*Witched, Geri Halliwell, All Saints..etc

Lately, not many though.....even extremely popular acts (like Kings of leon, Duffy had only had 2 silver-selling songs). Then again, these acts usually make up for underperforming singles by selling an immense amount of albums.

Lady Gaga could be the first singer since Leona Lewis to have a multiplatinum album and three silver-selling singles.

Revelry deserved so much more :(

I know the album is well above 1mill now, but I'm hoping Notion can sell a little better than Revelry did.

Timbaland would have easily acheived this with Give It To Me, The Way I Are and Apologise.

Possibly Take That: Patience, Shine, Rule The World or was there a single between?

Patience, Shine, Rule The World and Greatest Day must surely all be over 200k? I'm not sure if even Up All Night managed it. Said It All definitely won't imo though :P

Take That relesed 'I'd wait For Life' between Shine and Rule The World. I think it got to number 19, and dropped out of the chart the week after

If UAN did eventually manage it, they still have three - RTW, GD and UAN.

Britney: Baby one more time (1,445,000), Sometimes (414,000), Crazy (257,000) and Born To Make You Happy (309,000).
