July 22, 200915 yr Author ^I've done that a few times tbh. I gave LeToya to Johnjo, he came 4th, i came 22nd. Bev better not end my 100% qualification record i've got going. Haha, well LeToya was always going to do better than Stacie Orrico. :P I can only hope she makes the final, it's too good not to. I felt the same about that part at first too but after a few listens I quite enjoy it now. I prefer it when she goes up to C#5 and then wiggles her voice down. Still not 100% sold on the harmonies though, they don't sound human! I suppose it's different for her to show a little refrain as opposed to powering through everything. Whe she comes back town from the note, just listen very carefully a couple of times. See how quick she runs through the notes? That is what you call vocal SKILL! It takes huge amount of skill to riff through many notes at such a quick pace. Hmm, I'm not saying it puts me off the song but it seems a bit random. I'm sitting there, enjoying the middle 8, and then it just ends like that. I'm not used to her holding back so much, which is how that bit ends. Though those fast changing notes are rather impressive. :o Am I imagining her saying there was a bit of vocoder or voice altering on one of the songs? I'm wondering if it was this song as the 'oh oh oh, oh oh oh' bits at the very least do not sound very natural. Then, of course, there is the previously mentioned end of the middle 8 which sounds quite tampered with. Wasn't expecting much from the video tbh from what they used its good ^_^ For this song I'd guess the only other option for a video would probably be to just be walking down a road with shots of the sky :lol: She looks stunning :wub: time to bum up to her on twitter me thinks.

It's not actually her but Bev replaces the dancer in the last few shots, obviously. I'm not sure if we're meant to believe the dancer is Bev. We see her face a couple of times in the video and it's obviously not her, but she does seem to try hiding her face a lot. Mhm, don't think it could have been much different. The video would have just looked like "No Man's Land" part 2, but filmed at night, if they did it like that. I guess they had to do something different.

(and Luke as well ^_^) Agreed with her being on form, apparently she feels that this album has some of her best work on it, which is a bit of a bold statement to make. But I can see what she means as this is her first album in a long time where she's had total control of the album. I really hope Radio 1 don't ignore it but I wont hold my breath. Very current and I'm quite surprised that she'd know what sound is 'in' right now. :heehee: Though I suppose it was produced by Amanda Ghost, who is quite a big name.
