It's certainly more refreshing. Lady GaGa and Lily Allen have good albums but they don't deserve to clog up the top 2 for months, like they have, it got quite boring. There's just been nothing to replace them. (apart from Keri...for one week)

Mhm, I think this is where it all begins to pick up with possible contenders coming from Jordin Sparks, Mariah Carey, Sugababes, La Roux, VV Brown, Whitney Houston and Beverley Knight in the next few months. Could still be much better though.

So why had it counted for 2 past years?

Dunno, it wasn't me who decided not to include it this year. But I can definitely see why, the Eurovision album charts with the compilations in the real chart so it makes sense to exclude it from here. Compilations aren't allowed in this chart.

 

I think it would have peaked at about #8 in here this year if you're interested.

I was like WTF when it didn't enter the chart several weeks before the show. I knew that many people (okay, Rich, me and Tron :kink: ) charted it already and it easily could've made the Top 40. :o
