I think Hoyt's gone for good. They've not known what to do with his character since the end of Season 3. The door's open for him to return, but with such a large cast it's probably the best he's gone.

 

Russell going ape shit. Yes that's more like it. Knew he didn't care about Lillith. I don't think Eric's been brainwashed like the others, I'd imagine he'll either see Godric again or just snap out of it.

 

Reckon we should do a guess whose gonna get killed off in the finale.

 

My guesses: Steve, Russell, Salome, Nora (the other two Authority members), JD, Jessica

 

Going to guess that the end of Season will show Sookie being taken by Warlow

I actually feel like Eric & Nora might be working against the Authority now. The attempt to "convert" Eric to Lilith failed and seeing Godric actually caused Nora to break away from Lilith.

 

I can't see them killing off Jessica.

 

Also I still think we'll see Hoyt return at some point but probably not this season. Either that or they do what they did with Jeremy in Vampire Diaries and it'll just be a surprising fake going away that doesn't last very long.

Tbh I don't like the Lillith thing at all. It's all a bit predictable. I'd prefer it if we had more faery and Fangtasia storylines. The faeries and Pam + Tara are divine. <3

The Pam and Tara storyline seems so seperate to the rest of the plot now. Just like they're being stuck in there to fill some time.

 

Really enjoying the who Lilith/Guardian movement. Hoyt leaving doesn't bother me, he's been out of place for a while now.

 

Warlow is really bugging me I hope we see who it is soon

Well Pam is now connected to the main storyline. Guessing Eric will come back and save her in the finale.

 

Think Sam might be in for the chop, going to guess a lot of fairies die. Maybe Warlow will be the one who saves Sookie? I can't imagine him being anyone we've met yet.

Really enjoyed the season finale. Typical True Blood fashion though in leaving a lot of questions unanswered.

There's a bonus clip on the True Blood youtube page, Nora knows something about Warlow by the looks of it. I was a little annoyed that we didn't find out anything else about him in this episode though :(

Bit disappointed in that. Nothing, no hint of Warlow. I hate how the writers do this, they mention something and completely forget about it so they can tie all the loose ends up.

 

Not sure what to make of the ending.

I would've been happier if the Lilith story didn't drag into next season tbh. They didn't really treat it as a finale though, the majority of it was just filler and I'm a little bit disappointed in the lack of deaths.

Guess it's the new showrunner's choice. I'd say no. I wonder whether there will be a time jump next season or whether we'll pick up exactly where we left off? I really hate what they've done to Bill, I wish they would have just killed him off instead of having him re-born. I can't see there being anyway back for him now though.

I quite enjoyed it! The faery storyline is still great, and the Authority storyline just got good, haha. I'm still indifferent to the werewolf stuff.

 

Loved the first two seasons. Wasn't keen on the third. Hated the fourth.

Don't think you'd like this then. Some of the storylines this time are a little more fleshed out, but more in vein of the latter two seasons than the former. I'd say on the whole it is better than the 3rd and 4th series. I just really wish it would go back to the fist two seasons where there is a major arc storyline (or two) and all the characters are linked to it

Started rewatching this show from the start. Need to get ahold of season 7 like. Looking forward to catching up!
