hmmm... interesting story, I think this is the weakest episode to date of the second series, I didn't really like this episode at all. Creative side to it was a bit lame in my opinion.

I don't think that they'd turn her into a cyber. Even though she's "dieing" I can see a way that she could make another appearance if Billie Piper decided that she'd return.

I thought it was a pretty average episode, the documentary on BBC3 afterwards was interesting, and gives you an idea of what the writer/production team were trying to do...which makes me appreciate it.

Next week's looks really good, with the cybermen...I have a feeling a certain other enemy will appear at the end of next week's episode. I won't say but apparently the cybermen are supposed to be at war with .... we'll have to wait and see if it's true.

 

 

 

Didn't even watch it as I was round a relatives having a barbeque. I don't watch them anymore anyway, I stick to the old Doctor Who.

I quite liked, it started of a bit slow (dont they all) but the finale was fantastic, tho some episoes feel a bit like they dont have enough in it to fill 45 minutes...

 

I'm gonna cry when Rose dies. I know it.

Another filler episode. Pretty boring and rubbish really, and none of the various plot threads (Olympics, evil dead dad, child's drawings, lost alien) seemed to go together. It was more 'well made' than some of the more stronger plotted episodes this series were though.

 

Next week's episode looks great though! It'll be a two-parter though won't it? So maybe Rose won't die till a couple of weeks?

I ain't even sure Rose i gonna die TBH. Obviosly Rose is leaving but I doubt that she'll die properly, I mean what is the pointt of announcing that a major charchter is going to die, surley the producers would want to shock tha audeince and I think that they've released a whole load of red herring and that Rose will leave in a completley different way other than dieing.

Yeah, I hope they filmed 2 different endings or something.

 

But it's like with soaps, they're filmed in advance and so many people work on the show it's hard to keep plots tight.

 

Though I think would be a good ending is Rose does die but then the Doctor goes back to the time when he first met her and arranges it so he never meets her in the 1st place. Would be a bit of a mind f*ck!

I quite liked this week's episode although you could tell not much budget was used to film it. I think this week's episode was aimed at the younger age range of it's audience.

 

Storywise I thought it was very Roald Dahl-esque.

 

Can't wait for next week's episode although it will get overshadowed by England's World Cup Quarter Final.

Came over like a typical, average Hollywood straight-to-video horror film to be honest....

 

I was half expecting the kid to say something like "They're heeeeereeeee"......

 

Poor, Dr Who should be so much more than this..... -_-

In fact, this whole series has been depressingly average in comparison to the first series IMO. Frankly, half the episodes, I've been getting bored with and my mind's been wandering. In direct contrast to the first series where I was glued to the TV....

You can't beat the old classic Doctor Who episodes. I've given up on the new series, it totally bores me.
