[14] 16| Freemasons ft. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer) :snif:

It should not fall, yeah. :(

Can't wait to see how Glastonbury effects the itunes chart.

I reckon it will affect the chart a lot more than Download 09 which had a very weak effect on the chart (well, a lot of "metalheads" and fans of rock music don't use iTunes :kink:).

Maybe as effective as R1's Big Weekend's.

Very heavily, look at R1's Big Weekend, and that's not very big[/nopunintended] where Dizzee and The Prodigy climbed as high as the 30s after their appearances

Yes expect Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Blur to pop up in the Top 100. Fire and Bonkers will probably rise quite a bit too amongst other tracks...

Including the one, the only

JASON MRAZ!

OH MY GOD I MIGHT KILL MYSELF.

About Download: the only major effect was sending Pendulum - Propane Nightmares back into the top 100.

The song/artists I expect to rise because of "The Glastonbury Effect" are:

Lily Allen, Lady GaGa (especially JD), The Ting Tings, Jason Mraz obviously, Franz Ferdinand (NYG), Prodigy (O, WD, IMD), Black Eyed Peas (BBP, IGF, and oldies), Calvin Harris (TG, INA), David Guetta (WLTO, LDLMG/WA, LIG, EWT), White Lies (FTTF, TLAL), Gabriella Cilmi (SAM)

And that's about it :D

David Guetta and Gabs Cilmi are at Glastonbury? Why aren't I? :snif:

The iTunes chart is going to get flooded with MJ tracks, sadly passed away.

Please see thread in the lounge.

It will almost definitely happen. It's only fair to be honest. A true genius.

At least it will push Jason Mraz down

It'll probably only the 'bigger' acts at the festival that get high iTunes placings. Not expecting the likes of Mraz, BEP, Climi, White Lies, Lady GaGa to get a big boost from the festival as they won't be the ones getting all the media attention... that'll be going down to the headliners of the bigger stages.

Or poor La Roux been robbed of a #1, maybe I'm clutching at straws

TBH I wouldn't mind that  Amazed at songs charting already...

#168 Billie Jean

#169 Thriller

#230 Beat It

#237 Man In The Mirror

There's gonna be load charting! It's only been a couple of hours and I expect a lot of people are asleep...
