I may be alone here, but I can see Remedy being a huge commercial flop, even if it could be a big BJSC hit :o I hope I'm wrong though...I just can't picutre it rushing up the iTunes chart

I don't know, it's absolute RedOne gold, but not so much that it's generic...all it needs is a small push. The choruses are just too fantastic for it to not do well! :wub:

Remedy would easily be top 5 if it was entered, perhaps even winning. But I agree, I can see it flopping in the charts. ;o Public reception to Little Boots is lukewarm at best.

 

Also, I'm really not for banning anything anymore. I know that I was against removing the Eurovision ban, but if we honestly had that vote again I'd vote for it. It's just going to anger people when you try to control what they send. And yes, some songs will inevitably always do well (Girls Can't Catch and Remedy are obvious hits for the next contest), but there's always a balance. We'll have good and bad contests.

 

I will be going a bit cheap for the next contest (as of now I plan on sending Daniel by Bat for Lashes...), but that's simply because I'm away from home and won't be till July at which point I'll have a total of 3 days to search for a song. I've only been able to get online as much as I have at this point because I got sick at the beginning of the trip, but I'm getting better. Of course if I do find something in the short time I'm home then I'll gladly enter it. I was ecstatic to go top 10 with a song I'm positive absolutely no one had heard of before this contest.

 

I really hope Phil doesn't enter Girls Can't Catch. That would be hypocrisy to the extreme, consider he was one of the few who signed the Anti Cheapness Movement way back when. :/ But it's a wonderful song and inevitably I think someone will even if Phil doesn't...

Also could you add Beyoncé and The Saturdays please and also remove Emma Deigman

Knowing you, you will find something last minute. I'm going to wait until July 1st before I confirm, because of a blogs thingymejiggy at the start of every month.

Just so that you know...me sending Miss You Bow Wow into the contest isn't to be cheap. It's just to see if other people think my Radio Edit is any good...and have a bit of fun at the same time. :)
