June 26, 200916 yr At the moment amazons top 10 are all MJ albums http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/bestsellers/mus...CBP8CBA80Q4HCJ8
June 26, 200916 yr I've just looked at Amazon.uk's Top 100 Albums - up-dated every hour. MJ has the Top EIGHT Best Sellers! (Plus No.11). Not counting several others in the Top 30, etc. We will see how this impacts on the Album Chart on Sunday - if the frantic buying of his Albums carries on across all of the sources, that The OCC use for the UK Album Charts.....

June 26, 200916 yr Friday Update: Top 40 Only Missing data: Singles Top 15 11 Freemasons & Sophie Ellis-Bextor 12 Florence & The Machine There must be missing data if the Freemasons are ahead of Florence.
June 26, 200916 yr GaGa's nearing the Top 5 now. :cheer: 11 Dream Theater - oh, what. Gossip will likely to make a new peak. :o
June 26, 200916 yr Author There must be missing data if the Freemasons are ahead of Florence. I don't have the answers to that, hopefully RyRy will be able to shed some light on it, when he is online.
June 26, 200916 yr Author Jason Mraz is a non mover And before anyone asks Jacko's material won't do anything in today's chart, it will have some effect from today onwards.
June 26, 200916 yr RyRy, can we have:- The Enemy (SWYIL) Shinedown (SC) Jack Penate (BTO) positions in the singles chart please :)
June 26, 200916 yr Author What's happened to Cameleonz? :o Maybe it got DSQed  At least I won't get ear raped on Sunday listening to CamelLoons
June 26, 200916 yr You're Not Alone would be the most quite fitting tribute track. i would say 'Gone too soon' would've been more appropriate and relevant....
June 26, 200916 yr It will be interesting to see where MJ appears this weekend since nothing will have appeared in the mids. Glad but confused that Duffy is climbing. Hopefully it was leap over 2 million.
June 26, 200916 yr Maybe it got DSQed  At least I won't get ear raped on Sunday listening to CamelLoons Looks like it. Although MW don't always get it right - e.g. Airi L never appearing in any of the mids and then making the OCC chart on the Sunday.
June 26, 200916 yr Author I think its too late for any Jackson's tracks to appear on the singles chart this week, the only track that might make an impression is Thriller towards the end of the top 40, as the track has been fleeting about in the top 200s for a while now. Next week we should see quite a bit of action from Jacko, the albums chart will have a huge turnaround.

Yeah I agree, he'll dominate the album chart next week; #1 for sure and god knows how many entries will be in the top 10/top 40. I might even pick up a few myself. I think the singles chart could have a good few entries next week as well, although it depends how long the news coverage lasts. With his funeral probably being late next week I'd guess that he'll sustain coverage all week so we should see a lot of Jackson action in the charts. The sales are going to be split across chart weeks though so that'll dimish the impact somewhat.
June 26, 200916 yr Sales and missing data updated. Thriller is 200-5. Wonder how high up it will be tomorrow.
June 26, 200916 yr RyRy, can we have:- The Enemy (SWYIL) Shinedown (SC) Jack Penate (BTO) positions in the singles chart please :) TE 80-2 Shinedown 50+5 JP 40+2
June 26, 200916 yr Sales and missing data updated. Thriller is 200-5. Wonder how high up it will be tomorrow. Wow, that is astonishing, particularly as it won't include any iTunes sales of Thriller from the period following the announcement of his death (only other download sites that reported for Thursday). I think Thriller will be top 40 on Sunday, as will BJ and MITM (bet they're both just outside the top 200 at this point). On the Apple matter, this is getting ridiculous. Why can't they report within a 9 hour (presumably 12.01am-9am) timescale? TE 80-2 Shinedown 50+5 JP 40+2 Thanks! :)
