How am I bashing good music?. (Unless you are one of those Cascada buying idiots)

Early MJ music is great. I love it.

It's just sad to see that it takes for someone to die before these sheep go and buy his music.

Well honestly i am i do own cascada's first album and have downloaded tracks on mixed albums but it doesn't make an idiot because of it.

Oh for gods sake  Saturdays would be top 20 if it wasn't for MJ invasion and Freemasons would still be top 15
Heaven forbid the manufactured crap should be shoved out for the rememberance of a musical genius

Who is buying all this MJ stuff.... didn't they have them all already.... idiots

Another reason why people are most likely buying them is because they have got the old stuff on dodgy tapes like I have Bad on tape, I never bought the CD, so while they are cheap people are cashing in to upgrade their back catalogues, wouldn't you do the same if it was your favourite artist.

same as me...all his 1982-1991 albums I have it on cassette.

Plus the younger generation who haven't thought about getting one of his albums before, will want it now.
Hurray that La Roux are number 1 in the album charts (so far)

Can only speak for myself, but I didn't. I'd often considered buy a Michael Jackson album and very nearly bought the Essential album, but didn't. I now bought Number Ones, downloaded Bad and selected tracks from other albums at the weekend, simply because I thought this guy whose music I quite liked, is never going to release any more new music. I'm very likely wrong in that, as Michael has left 200 songs to his children and surely there'll be countless unreleased tracks floating around that will all be compiled into albums, to cash in -_- (and to make the fans happy :)).

LOL. MJ overload.
This is so 1980/John Lennon.

Yes but why do it now after he's dead? Surely his tracks were already available before, if people were actually fans they would've downloaded them as soon as possible... its just people acting like sheep and buying stuff because he's dead, even if they already own them on CD singles or albums...

Jamie T is doing soooo well! Better than I thought he'd do. He's sure to rise over the week as well, which is gooood.
Woah, poor PCD and Jordin! :( I thought they would obviously fall but not quite that much! :o

Oh, go Jamie :o

Glad to see the MJ invasion and I'm hoping most of it will last through the week. I'm shocked Thriller is top 10, it doesn't even have one version top 40 on iTunes any more. I think SC may overtake it.

Just out of interest, could I get a full update on every Jackson, Jackson 5 and The Jacksons song and album in either top 200 please :D

So glad to see Man in the Mirror at number one! It's a shame he hasn't got the number one album too but that could all change by the end of the week. I'm also glad I own pretty much all of Michael's back catalogue, I was out shopping on sunday and there wasn't a single MJ CD left anywhere.
