This thread is dedicated the fact that sometimes in life you have to hold your hands up about something you know little about until you actually look into the details of the case and admit you are WRONG.

 

Until last Thursday I had not played a track by Michael Jackson of my own free will in about 5 or 6 years, because of the freakshow around him, especially following those allegations made about him and the way it was reported in the media. Upon his death I looked on the internet and found out a large number of assumptions I held against MJJ (especially being a The Beatles fan did not help) were at best inconclusive, and at worst plain inaccurate thanks to the way they were reported in the media at the time.

 

So I'd just like to say SORRY to an artist who has never topped my Personal singles chart in over 25 years I've been running this (even though he sold more records in his lifetime than Elvis Presley (up to 1977) or The Beatles (1970) managed in there lifetimes. RIP
