I'm not much of a fan of the new Suga's single, sounds like a rip off of Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas, and I'm Too Sexy by Right Said Fred.

Definitely sounds like something 'Black Eyed Peas' or 'Fergie' would release. Also reminds me of 'Superstar' by 'Jamelia'.

 

Still, it's a good track.

UGH don't sully the good name of Jamelia's masterpiece by associating it with this tripe. The Suga's have really lost it.. let's hope their new single flops and Amelle's upcoming collaberation with Tinchy does so well she decides to try her hand at a solo career. I don't think the 'Babes could survive a THIRD personel change.. :lol:

:o Just listened to Get Sexy, really didn't like it, I don't think they could survive a second flop era in a row. I'm really not sure this'll be the top 3 hit the Sugas need to launch their album.

even if Get Sexy is a hit, which is likely as I can imagine that it would appeal to a similar audience to Boom Boom Pow, I don't reckon it will launch a huge album, moreso another low top ten album

 

it sounds like more of a single entity than an 'album seller' song

Nope, not in the top 300. It has appeared yesterday but I guess because of the MJ tracks climbing again, it dropped out.

Damn, oh well :( Then again, I'm quite glad of the MJ reactivation as long as it doesn't go too far, but if it affects Arctic Monkeys or Chipmunk that's cool :lol:

I wish MJ would just go away :(

Arctic Monkeys dont seem to have made much progress on La Roux since last night...

 

Thinking about the Arctic's previous album/ downloads didn't Brainstorm and Flourescent Adolescent peak at much the same place?

Can anyone post an update? Pop bars don't show at work :(

Both Sugababes and Dizzee deserve #1 with their singles and I'm glad that they seem not to prevent each other for getting that position.

 

And Michael Jackson invasion is really starting to annoy me even it was very predictable... The chart is going to be totally messed up for one more week.
