Are the Arctic going also with a circus thema now? :blink: Hate the cover, very tasteless IMO.

 

The song has parts i like and parts i don't. It may do at least Top 10, but it is not a asong i will cheer for.

Not heard it - due to it being their third album and the resurgence of pop / crap fake "indie" and Jacko's current bemusing chart influence I'll say Top 5 at the very most.

I think it will eventually peak at the Top 5. ;)

I've got to be honest and say in retrospect it sounds less impressive compared to the career defining single by the Sugababes which sounds like an instant surefire UK#1 hit on first airplay.

 

I'm suprised by how well it has done on iTunes so far.

from what i've heard i would call it more a "career SOS" single.

 

i know that you could probably say the same about Freak like me (as it obviously was a make or break moment) but ...in that case they came to rescue their career and ended up rescuing pop.

 

i don't know, this is okay but it just doesn't have that special something to grab you by the balls. i just wish they went proper dubstep on this.

not entirely sure what the heck the bloody Sugababes are doing in an Arctic Monkeys thread.... well... apart from the connection that they covered 'Dancefloor' (brilliantly).

 

The Sugababes single is just simply awful.... truly, truly bad.

 

The new AM single? Hmm... ok, just ok...and I agree - Last Shadow Puppets are a much more attractive option......
