I don't think my entries get much talk about them, there was literally nothing about this one (probably because people thought it was crap :teehee) I think the chart is perfect.

any country that starts off their BJSC campaign with a clutch of top tens, instantly warrants attention going their way...I always anticipate your confirmations now to be honest :o

Some really good discussions here in this thread.

Just out of interest; am I the only one, whom copies the links to the entries (for the SFs and Final), but then removes the names of the countries from the links, so I vote purely on the artist and song, and then I don't match up to the countries in question until I'm dishing out the points?

I don't quite do that but I listen to the MP3s in my iTunes and eliminate songs from the playlist until I have 10. Then I go to send my votes, but I usually know who sent what by the time I've listened to them anyway because of making odds etc.

Not sure I agree about being one of the higher up countries. Admittedly I've so far always made the final, meaning I get some attention but I reckon there are lots of people below me on this scale that get more attention during the selection process. I still have to go out of my way to get a comment on potential entries. :heehee:

I - Delta Goodrem - Believe Again - #1 for 12 weeks

12 weeks :o

The plan assumes they will leave at some point

I use the same assumption in my target to get top 3 :kink:

Ashton are proud members too :funky:

Vincent/Mira >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dead Disco/Jasmine though :smoke:

Caroline Af Ugglas beats them all though :heehee:

 I wouldn't say proud

Caroline>Mira>Vincent>Nevio/Cilmi>Jasmine>Dead Disco>Sugababes>Hande Yener

Mira>Caroline>Nevio/Cilmi>Jasmine>Dead Disco>Vincent>Sugababes>Hande Yener

Yeah, do we have to include Never Gonna Dance Again on the list? The republic likes to pretend it never happened

For most of the time we just seem to pass most people by...recently Kopecka seems to have fallen into the second-tier country trap in terms of attention (i.e. we're amongst the Ashtons and Quotosibbs as opposed to the Rontvias, Mdices and Nonsuches in terms of entry attention - no offence at all intended towards Ashton and Quotosibb :P), and we're determined to get back into the swing of things!

No offense taken, Ashton has never considered itself to be a top tier country

Same, I've discovered some very good songs in the past couple of years which I wouldn't have otherwise found  I would say that Quotosibb are on par with Nonsuch attention wise, I know that I'm always eager to see what both countries are sending...Ashton/Kingdom Of Shadow/Numayania/Hendinia are probably all on the same level of entry anticipation for me purely due to strings of good songs/results, along with Kopecka of course

If i'm honest i only ever really anticipate Rontvian entries because of thier uber HQ track record.

The Attention Meter imo.

1) TOP ATTENTION.

These get the most attention and often have highly hyped entries.

Home to only Mdice, Rontvia.

1.5: Kopecka.

2) HIGH ATTENTION.

These are hyped alot...and are all huge countries...but often 5-15th is expected.

The Quotosibb's, Ashton's

2.5: Eledan's, Nonsuch's, Angelicland's, KOS' of the world.

Ashton wouldn't put themselves that high tbh. We'd be about 3/3.5 in our chart.
