The top 250 is too much. It's a neverending story. I did think about just doing the top 50/100. But there are a lot of decent songs in the 101-250 region, so thought i'd do it down to there. I have managed to get through 10 already. So if I manage 25-50 per day, it would at the very most take 1-2 weeks, which is not all that long in the grand scheme of things. Think I will see how it goes for this year, then maybe make changes/adjustments to the way the results are revealed for other years. Btw, Madonna's song did actually spend 5 weeks in the chart at the back end of 1998, so it's final placing is slightly disorted. And thanks for the feedback too. Much appreciated.

July 15, 200916 yr I've actually been doing this with 2009, but with albums AND singles and #1 is worth 100 Poker Face is in the lead with 1,721 points for singles, and obviously Only By The Night is #1 for albums with 2,009 (oddly enough). Ooh, it'll be interesting to see how this year's chart looks :D There'll probably be less songs in it though, as nowadays songs have loooooooong chart runs, whereas these 1999 runs are about maximum 8 weeks-ish atm
