I mean still no Ciara or GCC, when Kings of Leon are still there despite a 76+ flop JLS still A-list!! :o:o good stuff!! :D It's going to be there for a while. They don't get rid of massive songs on their release week

Their core audience likes the likes of Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, The Enemy etc. Just because their latter singles don't do very well in the charts, it doesn't mean to say they're not popular. KoL for example, just headlined T In The Park (which i'm sure Radio 1 cover) so it's a good excuse for them to play it and plug their coverage. Plus they're still selling a bucket load of albums and is the biggest selling of the album this far. I'm really sure Radio 1 don't keep playlisting these songs for X amount of weeks just to p*** BUZZJACK OFF. Although, you never know. (:

Yeah, if few are still not on the playlist and few "old" tracks are still on the playlist, that's a bad thing. :( I don't find the playlist quite bad in terms of quality of songs, all are at least decent (with the exception of Jeremih - Birthday which was lyrical earrape imo), but it gets boring with few tracks still in the playlist, they should be more aware of what flops and what doesn't for the playlist to be more exciting than ever. :) Radio 1 is not a commerical station. July 16, 200916 yr I wonder when/if they'll add She Wolf...Scott Mills has played both the Spanish version and the English version so it's looking promising but it's UK release date is so far away.
July 16, 200916 yr Thrilled that Radio 1 has added Just Jack's The Day I Died -- the tune of the summer of 2009! And it's fantastic that Mercy by The Third Degree has moved up to the B list on Radio 2. It's much better than the original!

That is a complete mystery. The video was funny. I'm wondering if Radio 1 refused to playlist it, so the record company delayed the album release until The Day I Died is released. Doctor Doctor is good, but it's a bit-2007 sounding. If Radio 1 doesn't play it initially, no one would and the album would flop. That would be a shame, because the three "singles" have been great.
