September 15, 200915 yr Nice to see how well Spice Girls did. They were the best girlband ever IMO! agree. Its easy to forget just how big they were at one point. I doubt anyone under the age of 23 will ever witness that sort of hysteria in regards to music ever again. They were the truly last pop icons of our time. January 8, 201114 yr Author saturdays - ego sales are wrong, it's sold over 300,000 (it's their second best selling single)It wasn't wrong at the time of the last edit, which was April 2010. :P It's sold about 312,000 now. Shouldn't Mel & Kim, Shakespears Sister, Cheeky Girls and Tatu be added??? Mini Viva are a duo and they are included. I'll take Mini Viva out of the list, I suppose calling a duo a 'girl group' was a bit of a stretch. --- I'll try and update this thread, might take a while. Remember guys, they're estimates, not 100% accurate. Most of it is based on sales provided in June 2009 by someone who doesn't post here anymore, to the best of my knowledge.
