July 28, 200915 yr In next weeks Radio Times, there's a 2-page behind-the-scenes to this first episode :w00t:
August 13, 200915 yr ClNAiVhcIMA Latest Waters of Mars trailer. Don't watch if you don't want to know :P Actually starting to look forward for this special now, wasn't so keen after the 1st trailer after the Easter special. The Doctor seems terrified about the four knocks, more than he would be about The Master surely, maybe there's more to this than we think! Maybe it's the creature from Midnight.
August 13, 200915 yr Author Theres a thread for the 4 specials Matt. This is for S5 ;) http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=96841
August 14, 200915 yr They both look great together. I think this could be really good. I've always liked the revamped series though do feel they overdramatise it with the constant return of the daleks and stuff. I hope there's some new villains this time round!
August 25, 200915 yr I like Karen quite a lot to be honest. I enjoyed in her in the Kevin Bishop show and in the mini-films she did on C4. I don't know about the new Doctor though, he just looks a bit young. Will have to wait and see. Waters of Mars looks
September 8, 200915 yr Author Richard Curtis is to write an episode! Should be interesting! Screenwriter and film director Richard Curtis has agreed to write an episode of the new series of Doctor Who, his agent has confirmed. The Blackadder creator told The Sun newspaper he had signed up for a single show because his children were fans of the BBC One programme. "It's tremendously good fun and a treat for my children," he said. The 52-year-old is better known for romantic comedies like Four Weddings And A Funeral than for science fiction. "These days the things you can watch together as a family are much fewer," he explained of his decision to step on board the Tardis, "so when you get something like Doctor Who or the X Factor, it is such a pleasure to sit down as a family". Curtis also revealed he was fascinated by time travel and was currently working on a low budget film about the subject. "Maybe it's a desire to get out of being old. Sometimes you do just love the idea that you could go back in time and change things." The Vicar Of Dibley writer also said he thought he may have "one more sitcom in me before I die". In July, Doctor Who fans got their first glimpse of the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith, in costume as the Time Lord. The character's new look consisted of a tweed jacket, bow tie, rolled up trousers and black boots. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/8244450.stm
