Sampling is very definitely OK if it's uncredited BTW...

Why could someone not send Make Her Say? It samples Lady Gaga. I thought sampling was okay?

Sampling is fine, but my understanding is that it used GaGa vocals and because GaGa was already reserved it made it a no go for this contest.

 

GaGa can't vocal two tracks, even if one is an uncredited sample.

Didn't like either of the Luciana songs, but then anything she touches I tend to dislike anyway! The Cathy Davey song was interesting...not sure how well it'd do though tbh. That Coronas song is defaintely not my thing, and I don't think it'd do too well either tbh. I like the Shania song however, but sending an old song is always a risk as they rarely do very well for some reason. :(

Cathy Davey track sounds interesting out of all the selections, and I think I have chosen my third act, a Finnish female :kink:

ditched Shania....adding Anastacia - defeated
