July 22, 200915 yr If only the smoking hadn't lowered their immune system. I'm sure they will be fine as they are young ladies in the prime of life. At least none of them are pregnant otherwise that would be a worry. The government are actually advising women not to get pregnant at this point in time. Good job my sis has only got 5 weeks left.

Doctors have diagnosed Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah with a "severe bout of flu", forcing the trio to cancel radio and TV interviews for their track Get Sexy. The Sugababes will resume their work schedule as soon as they recover. A statement from the group reads, "They've been instructed to take at least a week off before a reassessment and so will unfortunately be out of action for at least the next seven days." It has not been confirmed if the singers are suffering from the H1N1 swine flu virus, which has claimed an estimated 500 lives around the world.

July 22, 200915 yr Sugababes pull out of Leeds festival date Sugababes have pulled out of this weekend's Party In The Park music festival in Leeds. The 'Get Sexy' group cancelled an appearance after band members Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah were diagnosed with a "severe bout of flu". The pair will be reassessed by medical professionals later in the week before resuming promotion for their new track. Writing on her Twitter yesterday, Range thanked fans for their support: "Thanks for your lovely messages. Getting lots of rest on my sofa and thinking this would be a good time to start the Sopranos collection x." July 23, 200915 yr It is true! Sugababes latest celebs to get swine flu 3am Exclusive 23/07/2009 UK girlband The Sugababes have been struck down with the deadly swine flu. Bandmembers Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah have been put into quarantine after they developed symptoms of the virus. Keisha, 24, admitted: "I definitely don't have swine flu, but the other girls are ill with it. "We've had to cancel all our events for the next week or so while the girls get better. "I can't believe I know someone who has swine flu. I'm sure we'll laugh when it's over." The girls were due to meet with US music mogul Jay-Z this week to talk over promoting their new single Get Sexy in the States. But they have been ordered to cancel all promotional duties on their new track for at least two weeks - including their slot at the Reading and Leeds Festivals at the weekend. The girls signed for Jay-Z's new Roc-a-fella record label back in April, and it was the first time he had had chance to come over to the UK to meet with them. A source said: "This is a massive blow to the girls. "They were all geared up after their break to throw themselves into promoting the new material. "But then Heidi fell ill and so did Amelle. "They thought it was only a cold at first but they were so sick they couldn't even get off the couch, no matter how much they wanted to get back into work. "The girls have been told by the doctor that they have all the symptoms of swine flu and they have been told to stay in, rest and stay away from people.
