A turd being painstakingly squozen out of an unappealling bottom, perhaps?
From the 30-second clip on iTunes, the b-side, 'If I Changed' sounds very R&B/Soul sounding! B)
And I thought her first single was poor, man...

The first line was a bit off but apart from that a good performance. Good routine with the dancers.

i can't believe she's 18 year olds :o

this song kinda remind a lil bit of GaGa

I saw this, wasn't expecting much but was suprised. Quite good. B)

I like this more than the last single but I wish she'd just release "Here We Go Again" and make everyone happy. :heehee:

I actually preferred Mama Do which i thought was a great pop song. This is just okay.

I agree.

Boys & Girls kind of sounds like a Sugababes song.

I like it. :)

I hated Mama Do so avoided this at all costs but my brother has become somewhat obsessed with her so I've heard it about 1000 times this week and I think it's an awesome track :D

It's just clicked what this song sounds a bit like...

Nice review from DS:

Pixie Lott: 'Boys And Girls'

Released on Monday, September 7 2009

"If a record label were to grow a perfect popstar in a laboratory, Pixie Lott might well be the result," we noted when reviewing her debut single - and eventual number one - 'Mama Do'. This wasn't meant sneeringly, and the more we see of the young Essex lass, the more we're convinced by her. She's what our nan calls a "right little cracker".

A right little cracker who's now touting a cracker of a pop single. For 'Boys and Girls' Lott marches her shapely pins to the dancefloor for an unashamedly feelgood party tune. The production cleverly blends the retro and the modern, Lott sounds just as comfortable here as she did on the more subdued 'Mama Do', and the lyrics house a line that's just begging to be repeated/tweeted/made into a T-shirt : "A good beat never hurt no-one." Amen to that!

the new mix has grown a little on me. Still much prefer the Demo tho.

The trumpets are quite horrid tbh
