The biggest seller not to make the top 20 is Amazed by Lonestar selling about 250,000 to date.

Big sellers not to make the top 30 include Shame by Elelyn King at about 250,000 and Supersonic by Oasis with sales of 200,000.

Never made Top 20.

The Script 'Breakeven' did really well... (If the above post is correct about Lonestar... I think it now respectively goes too The Script as I am pretty sure it's a 300k seller? I maybe wrong though...)

Also JUST missing out on Top 10...

Jennifer Hudson 'Spotlight' & Jason Mraz 'I'm Yours' (Jordin Sparks 'Battlefield' added to this list soon??)

Never made Top 20.

The Script isn't a 300k seller, 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' is, but that peaked at #2.

I found this on wikipedia:

Biggest selling single not to make the top 10 is Numb/Encore by Linkin Park and Jay-Z, which gained the record in July 2008. It has sold in excess of 300,000 copies. It beat the line-dancing classic "5,6,7,8" by Steps, which spent 14 weeks in the Top 40, but only managed to make #14. As for lower peaking singles, sales get so close, it is hard to make out which singles have sold more overall, and it is usually not in a chart researchers interest to be aware of lower peaking singles sales. The best-selling single not to make the Top 20 is perhaps Amazed by Lonestar, which has sold 180,000 copies despite only peaking at #21.
Both Sweet Home Alabama and Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd have sold in excess of 250,000 copies despite both peaking at #21. They were both on the Freebird EP which originally charted as Sweet Home Alabama / Double Trouble on initial release in 1976 before recharting in 1979 when released on 12", this time as Freebird EP and this same EP recharted again in 1982 when it reached that #21 peak. In addition to the EP both songs have sold well on download with Sweet Home Alabama selling close to 200,000 downloads despite a lowly #44 peak. In total that would put Sweet Home Alabama at around at least 450,000 copies. In addition Freebird has sold about 100,000 copies on download despite not reaching the top 75 and in total that means that song has sold about 350,000 copies.
