August 7, 200915 yr YOU MUST DO 10 HAIL MARIAH'S TO BE FORGIVEN FOR YOUR SINS. THX. I'll just listen to her back catalogue from her debut to 'Mimi'. That'll please you by 78% at least one can hope. :P Sorry just not been liking her stuff since last year :(
August 7, 200915 yr Surprisingly enough, "Obsessed" nails it for me ! My fav Mariah single ever maybe :o
August 7, 200915 yr So I just listened to Madonna's "Celebration", and it's funny she's gone to her pandering to the gays/club sound, since her hard candy obviously does't appeal to anybody. Generic club-lite track that could be sung by anyone. She should just step down rather than tarnish her name further.
August 7, 200915 yr Surprisingly enough, "Obsessed" nails it for me ! My fav Mariah single ever maybe :o It's not surprising the guy in the video is obsessed though, when she dresses like *that*! :naughty:
August 7, 200915 yr Author So I just listened to Madonna's "Celebration", and it's funny she's gone to her pandering to the gays/club sound, since her hard candy obviously does't appeal to anybody. Generic club-lite track that could be sung by anyone. She should just step down rather than tarnish her name further. She already did club-friendly dance music with Confessions On A Dancefloor so it's hardly as if this is the first time, and regardless of Hard Candy's album sales, both 4 Minutes and Give It 2 Me were huge global hits so to say they 'obviously don't appeal to anybody' is ridiculous.
August 7, 200915 yr Well they are all pretty poor lead singles tbh but She Wolf does it for me makes me wee
August 7, 200915 yr Shakira hands down for me, She Wolf is incredible. I like Obsessed, and i generally dont really like Mariah on the whole that much. Celebration does absoulute nothing for me though. Need to hear Whitney's.
August 7, 200915 yr Shakira def! Mariah's new song is dreadful. Not interested in Whitney and i hate Madonna.
August 8, 200915 yr While he hardly counts as a diva, surely Michael Jackson has made the biggest 'comeback' this summer... :w00t:
August 8, 200915 yr I voted for Mariah. :) I don't really like Whitney and Madonna's new one is awful.
August 8, 200915 yr Shakira for me. I can't stop listening to the song and watching her video. I really hope it does well over here when it's released.
August 9, 200915 yr Madonna all the way. She is releasing a killer come back single. I actually think Whitney might do ok and Mariah's single isnt bad neither.
August 9, 200915 yr I haven't notice that Madonna and Mariah were gone somewhere to speak now about a "comeback". ( I start to hate this word really. It is used nowadays for anyone not being one month in charts  )
August 10, 200915 yr Perhaps before making predictions of Madge's ORIGINAL sounding masterpiece someone could refresh the many short term memories here and tell us exactly HOW MANY ***PHYSICAL*** (yes unlike similar chart failures of other established pop stars, Vadge's PHYSICAL WAS NOT WITHDRAWN and it STILL managed to FLOP WRETCHEDLY :o ) copies of "Miles away" were sold in the first week of release? ( would it B fair to presume these were bought in the main by the foaming at the Mouth LOONS ( whose believe Vadge is a "CUTTING EDGE" musical 'artist' and is no way desperately trying to prolong her fame/cash flow (with which she is obsessed with above ALL ELSE despite her endless fake platitudes and insincerity) by releasing music manufactured to ape the most hackneyed popular sounds of the current chart at the expense of the slightest bit of originality or decent tune - at least Britney has the excuse of being a Record co PUPPET for her 'output' FFS). Its also important to consider the degree of success 4 mins gave her and that "Miles away" was ONLY the 2nd single to follow that up to see how unpopular she was with the record buying public (especially + most importantly the youth, given the lack of success of the album *compared* to 4minutes for a start). The only positive thing i've heard about this project is that she WON'T be in the video for the track which i'm sure can only be an advantage in promotion to the youth market especially given that her in denial obsessions (with looking young etc) have driven her to create her physical appearance that is MORE MONSTROUS + GRUESOME than even that of MJ himself (+ at least it was only his face that was affected by his ill mental state)......... http://www.strangesports.com/images/content/104546.jpg

August 10, 200915 yr Shakira without any doubt. Critics are lauding over it, everyone on the internet seems to love, awesome new style that she hasn't really gone into before [apart from PI/LDLI] - best song of the summer, and Whitney & Mariah are pretty sub-par.No idea what "Celebration" is but I don't really care to. & Timor, that's a decent electro-pop song.
