Temper Trap's new single is the theme to Sky Sports advertising the Premiership season. As the Premiership season started this weekend it is not unreasonable to assume some people watching Sky Sports will think that is a good tune and go and look to download it. Hence its inclusion this week.

The success of The Temper Trap is the only good thing to ever come out of football.

 

Also, Just Jack is at #26, I can see TDID being huge :o

I am thrilled that The Day I Died is doing so well. A song that requires thought and analysis -- much like Embers, which I will never get tired of. Still my top track of 2009.

The only possibly significant ones are Jay-Z 'D.O.A.' and Sean Paul 'So Fine', but I can't see either doing well, so slow week.
