May 2, 201015 yr I don't think I've ever seen anything so ridiculous in my life. Steven Gerrard = Grade A Twat.
May 2, 201015 yr I don't think I've ever seen anything so ridiculous in my life. Steven Gerrard = Grade A Twat. Well he nearly signed for them twice. Plus that is now his second assist for Chelsea to add to his one own goal for Chelsea. Besides, Liverpool were by far the better team until that piece of anticipated opportunism by Drogba. But now Liverpool are dead men walking after the mental and physical punishment after 120 minutes playing on Thursday night. But right now I want Rafa gone. Losing the FA Cup home reply to Reading was the final straw for me. He might have been screwed over by those two Yank muppets fleecing the club of £70-£80m of finance, and saddling a club with debt it did not previously have; but he did not help himself in the summer replacing Alonso by signing the Italian answer to Darren "sicknote" Anderton; and a so called right-back who can't defend to save his life. The next 3 months will be the most important in this history of Liverpool FC in a long, long, long time, as Liverpool could very easily go into a severe meltdown (with Rafa, Torres; Gerrard; Mascherano gone); or be bought up by a rich billionaire (either from Dubai (DIC), or an offshoot of the Chinese Government) to make us big guns again. Still well done to Steve McClaren and FC Twente.
May 2, 201015 yr Author Aqualini has been brilliant these last few games i've seen him? Touch of class. Really think he'll be a good player once he's got a good pre-season about him. I really don't see why people want Rafa out. Before he came we weren't even challenging for 4th place. What he has done is nothing sort of magnificent. If he goes we're screwed. It's going to take time, but i'm convinced Liverpool will go places again (once the youth structure is in place). We've not even been that bad this season... just had awful away form, been severely done over by injuries and not got a lot of luck really. It really is a case of me or them between Rafa and the Yanks though.
May 2, 201015 yr Can I just say listening to the Radio 5 Live 606 phone in today, reminds me why Manchester United fans are hated throughout the country by a lot of neutral football fans I know. No doubt those morons would celebrate if Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs or Wayne Rooney happened to do the same thing as what Steven Gerrard unfortunately did today that just so resulted in disadvantaging Liverpool's chances of winning the Premier League title. Scum the lot of them.
May 2, 201015 yr Author I'm gutted we lost to Chelsea, but do they really think we threw the game so they wouldn't win the title? lol. It's been inevitable since 1990 that Man Utd would over-take Liverpool in league titles and it's a case of WHEN and not IF at the moment. I couldn't care less if Man Utd have won more, but I don't want them to win the league. Hope they don't f*** it up next week (Chelsea). No-one deserves to win the league title this year. I just can't wait for this season to end.
May 3, 201015 yr What a pile of shite yesterday was. Way to end the season on a flat note. It would have to be that fucking horrid Michael Jackson lookalike that scored as well, wouldn't it? Also LMAO @ Berbatov. Missed 3 chances my nan would have scored. He got the best reception of anybody else when he got subbed off  I'm gutted we lost to Chelsea, but do they really think we threw the game so they wouldn't win the title? lol. May 5, 201015 yr Well I'll be honest I fully expected Man City to grab 4th. But Spurs ability to sign all the intermediate decent midfielders and strikers who came available have paid handsome dividends. Crouch is a legend whom Liverpool should never have sold, and he just has to go to South Africa in the England World Cup XXIII.

Plus the fact that Harry Redknapp lives just a few miles away from me.

Yeah after being so cruelly denied by mass food poisoining a while back it is great feeling that we have finally done it, I am hoping that Arsenal lose to Fulham on Sunday and we beat Burnley, will be the icing on the cake getting 3rd but what a season though beating Chelsea and Arsenal and doing the double over City, great time to be a Spurs fan
May 5, 201015 yr Well done to Spurs for finishing at least 4th. Indeed. They were due a bit of luck, especially when you consider the season when this decision ultimately cost Spurs an UEFA Cup place a few years ago: U-8dOjeVC80
May 5, 201015 yr Money can't buy you everything :D Congrats Spurs, glad they were the club to break the top four! Well deserved!
May 6, 201015 yr I too am pleased that Spurs got into the top 4. Well deserved. *wonders if Craig is planning a celebratory curry* :P
May 7, 201015 yr Excited but very nervous for tomorrow. Tomorrow it will be four months to the day since we won away and I'm far from confident going to a place like Blackpool. However the permanant signing of Majewski and the possible return of captain Paul McKenna and I'm feeling much better than I was at 15:00 on Sunday. And with DJ Campbell possibly injured tomorrow it's all going well. Even if we don't get a particularly good result tomorrow, as long as it's one we've a chance of pulling back at the fortress by the Trent on Tuesday then I won't be too bothered. One thing I will say is that from our play-off record it probably isn't going to be boring. We're a team for the neutrals, not for our fans!! If, in a fortnight tonight, I'm not buzzing preparing for a trip to Wembley the following day then I will be routing for Blackpool. What an incredible achievement it would be for them to be a Premiership team, I think Ian Holloway would surpass Harry Redknapp, Roy Hodgson and even Eddie Howe to be the Football League manager of the season.
