For those who don't know, Major Lazer is the collaborative project from Diplo and Switch and quite frankly it's sublime.

The album 'Guns Don't Kill People...Lasers Do' was released in June.

 

Yes, the album has been out for a few months, but I've only just downloaded it and :wub:

i listened to a bit of 'pon de floor' it was unbareable.

Considering it's been hyped up on Pitchfork + Diplo and Switch are both producers with indie cred, it belongs here. This isn't 'dance' in the sense of what's in the dance forum.

I'm with Cremey.

I normally hate anything 'urban' but this album is bloody brilliant - I'm even loving the reggae/ragga track - wtf!

 

They are releasing Keep It Going Louder next aren't they - that could be massive

 

The only bad thing about this album is the tagging, which 90% of last.fm seem to be sticking to :/. Use brackets and capital letters for those with OCD please. Otherwise it's amazing, i'm surprised i like it, especially Anything Goes which should be really annoying.
