I think Wont Back Down is brilliant myself, if the whole record is this quality i'll be very happy, it's better than Not Afraid. Not so keen on P!nk's part though, doesnt fit in that well, but Eminem is really showing off his rap skills on the track.

Havent really heard any of the new stuff but is it safe to say he is back to his good ol' days? Because while I did quite like Relapse, it was only a few tracks and majority of them got old quickly.

Won't Back Down is terrible. I love P!nk but her hook is crap, the production is a totally jarring mess and the lyrics are just banal. All been done before.

Completely agree. 'Won't Back Down' is very, very disappointing for me. I'm not so much looking forward to the Rihanna duet either now if I'm honest. :(

So this has leaked. I hate Eminem usually, so I deleted everything but the Rihanna, Lil Wayne and P!nk tracks and that is my order of preference respectively. The Rihanna track is by far my favourite of the three, she gets a large part and he isn't quite as vile as he usually is. The Kanye line on the Lil Wayne track made me 'LOL' though. Not particularly keen on the P!nk track, disappointing. :(

 

But yeah, I'm never gonna be an Eminem fan, so there's no point in my listening to the solo stuff. I think he's an angry little man and I find it hard to get through a song of his without a lyric that makes me go. :/ It's not that he's 'shocking' or anything, I just find him horrible.

I dont think it has leaked. its not on the site i trust the most. most likely the "leak" is a fake, there was a fake for relapse too.

Only listened to two songs so far ('You're Never Over' and 'Love the Way You Lie') but it's already easily better than 'Relapse', just from those tracks.

Now let's just forget 'Relapse' ever happened and go back to loving Em again. :wub:

 

hmm im gonna wait for it to come on what, i dont trust big leaks like this, especially when a site that normally has things far before anyone else has them doesnt have it yet, i had a fake relapse, so not worth my time until im 100% sure its legit.

 

EDIT: or was it a fake relapse or i was just shocked it was so $h!t :kink: (nah the first one i got was fake when it "leaked" but didnt really leak).

It's seriously SO much better than 'Relapse'. It's much more commercial, perhaps why I prefer it. I'm just pleased the stupid voice has gone and the songs are a lot more serious. So many samples too, seems like over half of the songs sample other songs. That's no bad thing though, I'm really quite surprised by how much I like the album!

I think 'Love the Way You Lie' will be pretty huge. I think it's been announced as the 2nd single (not completely sure)...either way I think it'll be really successful...

Just gave 'Love The Way You Lie' a listen and WOW! Anyone else getting a B.o.B 'Airplanes' vibe from it? Rihanna sounds really young on it though :lol: But it's amazing. I'm gonna download this later! (Oooh get me downloading an Eminem album :drama:)

Downloading now... I'm intrigued as Relapse was a bit hit&miss.

This album is really strong. I have only listened to half the record because I'm at work, but it's definitely one of his better efforts. The hook on "Talkin' 2 Myself" is dope. The Rihanna track is good too, her hook is way better than Pink's. "No Love" featuring Weezy is epic. What song does that sample, I can't remember the name at all? I'll give more thoughts later once I've listened to it in full, but so far it's sounding promising.

The anticipation for this was off the chart. So many "fake" leaks, and claims surrounding the internet release. The internet was buzzing last night, such a nice surprise to find out that it's out this morning!

it's good, a very large improvement on Relapse. Still not a patch on any of his other albums though (although lets face it, none of us should be expecting that from him). My favourite tracks on first listen are probaly Wont Back Down and Almost Famous. The Rihanna track has number 1 written all over it.

I don't really like 'Love The Way You Lie' but I can see it appealing on a MASSIVE scale.

On the album, after "Not Afraid".. Every track is very impressive. Before NA, not so good :( But it's only 6 songs.
