December 1, 200915 yr Ya i have to agree and i have to say i hope it doesnt happen in a way, b side for a single or something might be ok but i wouldnt like his kinda souind on a kylie album i dont think.
December 2, 200915 yr it's great that Kylie is working with Taio and exploring new grounds musically too... I hope she collaborates with other producers like Akon, David Guetta & will.i.am so she could re-crack the US market... i luv her dance-pop sound but her comeback must be try to do something different from 'X', that's why she should go into a new direction for this album, maybe explore some more funk, R&B, electro-hip hop... she flirted with that sound b4 on songs like 'Sweet Music', 'Secret', 'Heartbeat Rock' on her past 2 albums but she needs different production to go with it... i mean I love her old sound but she needs to open up to a younger market, that's why she should collaborate with some of today's hippest artists such as Lady Gaga, will.i.am, Akon, Justin Timberlake, David Guetta.... December 2, 200915 yr She's quite obviously never going to crack the US again unless she had a single that has the same impact as CGYOMH... and I don't care really. She does more than well enough in the markets she actually aims for and promotes in, I wouldn't want her to sacrifice her style/sound just to jump on a bandwagon and hopelessly chase US success again.
December 2, 200915 yr I completly agree with you sliver rocket, i dont want to see kylie jumping on bandwagons as she has never really done that, kylie does her own thing and it has worked for the last 20 odd years.

I really hope she doesnt colaborate with the likes of akon, timberlake or lady gaga. Kylie should stick to pop and not go down the urban route..it doesnt suite her voice particularly and besides, everyone else is working with these artists and there is too much of it around.

Kylie should stick to pop and not go down the urban route..it doesnt suite her voice particularly and besides, everyone else is working with these artists and there is too much of it around. i'd love her to stick to pop... but I think that at this stage of her career Kylie needs a new younger audience... her past album 'X' wasn't an international success because it failed to find a sizeable audience.... the only way to re-gain that audience is by relating to them and by collaborating with today's hippest producers and artists and to embrace today's most popular musical style which is R&B/urban with an electro twist... so OK we want Kylie to be credible but we also want her to sell records, because in the end, if she doesn't sell enough, she will NOT do a world tour :o: and she might NOT release another studio album  ... Don't be so ridiculous, Kylie's obviously going to be around for the longrun and having success in the markets she aims for and promotes in. I'd be hugely disappointed if she released generic urban sludge. Face it, the only way she'll get US success again is if a single has an impact the same size as CGYOMH. She released an urban leaning lead single for the last album in the US, featuring a rapper who had not long before had a #1 single there... look what happened to that? Doing urban will not help her get success in the US, and it'll alienate her fanbase too.

December 8, 200915 yr i'd love her to stick to pop... but I think that at this stage of her career Kylie needs a new younger audience... her past album 'X' wasn't an international success because it failed to find a sizeable audience.... the only way to re-gain that audience is by relating to them and by collaborating with today's hippest producers and artists and to embrace today's most popular musical style which is R&B/urban with an electro twist... so OK we want Kylie to be credible but we also want her to sell records, because in the end, if she doesn't sell enough, she will NOT do a world tour :o: and she might NOT release another studio album  ... why on earth should Kylie jump on the band wagon and collaborate with some of the biggest R&B producers just to have a big hit? Firstly, it would be doing like everyone else is doing at the minute. Secondly, it wouldnt suit her voice or style. Thirdly, I dont believe Kylie needs to do that. All she needs to do is come up with a killer pop song. Lets face it, Can't get you out of my head did well because it was a killer tune. Body language, the follow up went in the american r&b direction and didnt do half as well. Kylie should stick to her roots and work with the producers that suit her best such as scissor sisters (I believe in you), Xenomania, Johnny Douglas, Calvin Harris, Brothers in rhythm etc.
December 10, 200915 yr I wouldnt mind if she did another Red Blooded Woman, and i know im in the minority with this one, but i actually loved All I See, maybe not for a lead off single but i thought it was catchy. I just dont want to her to stray too far away from her sound.
December 10, 200915 yr No for me i would hate another body language kinda era, dont get me wrong i adore choclate and love slow but apart from them body language was disapointing for me, i would love an all out pop comeback, a mixture of light years, fever and parts of x would suit me, i know im asking for alot though!!
December 11, 200915 yr I think it's a bit daft for a singer with over 20 years of hits to suddenly start sounding like every other act in the charts. stop insulting Madonna plz :D :D

Doing urban will not help her get success in the US, and it'll alienate her fanbase too. yes but 'All i see' was dreadfull and sounded like an Ashanti B-Side session leftover... :puke2: plus Mims was a one-hit wonder that no-one cared to collaborate with after his sole hit... She needed some Akon, some Lil'Wayne, some Kanye (b4 the Taylor Swift incident) and maybe some Timbo... or someone else with a sizeable US audience...not Mims :puke2: !!!!... and she needed a better funkier tune reminiscent of Gaga's 'The Fame Album' or Ke$ha's new album 'Animal' ... i know it will harm her credibility for a while but who cares about credibility when u can sell millions of records :yahoo:???? Edited December 11, 200915 yr by Big Mistake
December 11, 200915 yr Akon, Lil' Wayne and Kanye? There's so many things wrong with that, I can't even begin to explain... :puke: Thankfully she would never.
December 12, 200915 yr yes but 'All i see' was dreadfull and sounded like an Ashanti B-Side session leftover... :puke2: plus Mims was a one-hit wonder that no-one cared to collaborate with after his sole hit... December 12, 200915 yr Kylie may have tried to crack the america but she has always said its not her priority, im sure kylie knows only to well not to sacrifice her huge european following for a chance of america that prob wont work, im sure kylie's new album will be heavily geared at the european market and not the american market. All i see was average to me i liked it but it was nothing special and i would hate a full album with that style through out. I just hope kylie goes for a killer pop album again as that seems to be whats works for her and its what most of her fans want.
December 20, 200915 yr Just heard a demo that has been shortlisted for Kylie's next album - it sounds amazing!
December 20, 200915 yr ElectroPop all the way please. Can't get you out of my head didn't lean to R&B and was successful in America. I don't think she really cares about mass appeal in the U.S. anyway, most of her hardcore fans there are gay or have gay sensibilities and I'm sure they don't want her to sound like everything else in the U.S. charts. She should just do her own thing and release what is best from those sessions. And please no "2 Hearts" as 1st single! Release something commercial that's representative of the album!
December 21, 200915 yr Kylie should (and more than likely will) stick to what she does best. POP MUSIC. Everything she's ever done has been pop music and always will be. She may have had different leanings and dabblings into different genres to influence the pop sound she makes but she will always do pop.
