not too bad at all, very catchy chorus, very Kelly Clarkson, very generic

sounds like a promising singer though

She's definately got some talent for writing this sort of pop - She's penned songs for Britney etc so maybe she'll be sticking around...

Generic pop ftw! :cheer:

Music Everywhere was generic pop at its best so I can't argue with that
assuming we both reach the final...still, the contest looks a bit smaller than usual so hopefully we won't see over half of the entries DNQ'ing this time!

you have a point there.

Fingers crossed.

Have you heard this? :o

Demo version by an MF hottie :kink: I loved Under Your Spell

the production remains strong/exactly the same but I much prefer Caroline's vocals on the track

in the last few days it's hit me that it really is an incredibly strong pop song actually, in my opinion of course - I can't stop listening to it now

Caroline Jönsson and FSR Rontvia would like to thank everyone who voted for By My Side to give the nation a tenth top five success in the contest. Asked how she felt to beat the likes of Linda Sundblad, Elin Lanto and Linda Bengtzing - all hugely hyped Swedish pop songs in the odds - Caroline said 'it's unbelievable, I can't believe I finished top 5 when the odds had me down for a 12th-20th place finish'. The indie crowd were out in force this month with quirky Brits Ellie Goulding and The Good Natured leading the charge whilst the love/hate Swedish pop genre was responsible for three songs in the top ten this month!!! It has also been confirmed that FSR Rontvia's biggest selling singles artist of the decade, Delta Goodrem, also responsible for their first ever entry to the contest - Believe Again - will represent the country at the Christmas spin-off in Ashton with her beautiful take on John Lennon's 'Happy Xmas (War Is Over)'. A specially made video, just for the contest is now airing with a Rontvian xmas message at the end!

FSR Rontvia have had the honour of reserving these acts for BJSCXXIII and will be sending one of them to BaNG;

- Girls Can't Catch

- HURTS

- Name The Pet

- Ricki-Lee

- Anna Abreu

more info on songs will be revealed soon...

BJSCXXIII potential?

:nono: bad move, I would never listen to another FSR Rontvia entry :smoke: . And please don't go Girls Can't Catch :puke:

HURTS FTW :cheer:

P.S. check out my Swedish entry :smoke:

 thanks for your input Martin, I really think the Sabrina theme needs sending, maybe to a future TV themes spin off though :kink:

I don't have HURTS reserved anymore, Kopecka are sending their former band Daggers

haha, maybe I should post more random rubbish here to ensure I get there first :kink:

the Rontvian thread is the disposal ground of BJSC :P

as the BJSCXXIII confirmation deadline looms, Name The Pet, Ricki-Lee, Heads We Dance, Sarah Dawn Finer, Agnes and Girls Can't Catch are a host of acts that have been ruled out of the right to represent FSR Rontvia in BaNG...

the two songs going head to head to follow such greats as Anna Abreu, Pixie, Sara Bareilles, Uh Huh Her, The Sound of Arrows, Maria & Mira, Beautiful Small Machines and others are both hybrid-ballads - which will mark the first slower song sent by FSR Rontvia since BJSCV! Unless Robots In Love can qualify as a slower song...

the two songs in contention are set to be #1 and #2 in the Rontvian charts later on today, and the entry shall also be chosen shortly.

Haven't heard either Elsaine or Shackles, so either of them will be a discovery, hopefully another with warrants another 8/10/12! :o

pressure :drama: I haven't decided who to send, I wrote #3-#50 in my chart this morning but I can't decide between #1 and #2 at the moment...
