With three days left until song confirmation closes, it's heavily rumoured that FSR Rontvia's entrant will tick the following boxes;

1) Has done a cover version of Bad Romance - check

2) Has done a cover version of former Rontvian entrant Pixie's smash hit Mama Do - check

3) Looks like Apprentice 2009 winner Yasmina;

There can only be one Caro Emerald, please send her, I really like her track. I must chart this track in my personal chart next week.

If you get a minute sometime, can you give your opinion on my entry ;)

It's pretty much a given that I'll be sending her now...I don't love anything by my other four reserved artists anywhere near as much.

Apprentice winner Yasmina, sorry Dutch singer Caro Emerald has been confirmed as FSR Rontvia's 25th entrant to the upcoming contest in BaNG! The first Dutch singer to have ever represented the nation, A Night Like This is a jazz pop crossover with an infectious chorus and a sound rarely heard in BJSC. You can hear the song here;

to celebrate being picked to represent the nation, Caro gave a mini set in the RTVN studios consisting of covers of the worldwide #1 smash hit single by Lady GaGa, Bad Romance, and former Rontvian entrant Pixie's smash hit Mama Do both in her own unique style;

FSR Rontvia quite hugely approve of your fantastic entry too :wub: :heart:

Japayork Cha-Cha-Chills in Rontvia

With FSR Rontvia getting all cultural with this month's pianofilled BJSC entry Japayork was more than a little nervous arriving with mixboards and non-stop electro party-pop for the first date of his world tour. Luckily for him however, during his time living in Japan, New York and London, he'd picked up some impressive cha-cha skills which he put to good use during a live performance of 'Night Like This'. 'I hope the crowd were impressed with my effort! I really like Rontvia's different approach this month which just makes you wanna move'. Japayork will be hoping his track has a similar affect on the Rontvian public as he looks for their votes in the XXV final!

Fantastic! Wish it had been released properly here, I believe it got an indie release but it deserved a lot more.

Caro happy just to make the final

RTVN have been talking to their BJSCXXV entrant Caro Emerald about her chances in the contest after she had odds as low as 70/1 (55/1 from international bookies). She said 'I believe I've got a great song and I'm just glad to make the final. It's already been #1 in Holland, and the album has spent two months at the top of the album chart there.' Caro's album 'Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor' has climbed into the Rontvian top 5 for the first time this week whilst the single stays locked at #2 behind Lena Meyer-Landrut's Satellite, Germany's Eurovision entry. With quirky ladies doing so well in FSR Rontvia once again at the moment what does Caro make of being picked to represent FSR Rontvia in BJSC? 'It's an honour, I've always admired BJSC and wanted to take part in it and I'm glad FSR Rontvia gave me the opportunity to do so.' Caro's been making a name for herself with her contemporary jazz style sound and cover versions of pop songs in the style. Having already sung 'Mama Do' and 'Bad Romance', Caro gave an impromptu performance of Jason Mraz's I'm Yours;

and to finish she gave a stunning performance of 'A Night Like This' complete with full orchestra to a packed out crowd in Klurren's town square;

I'm certain that it's the truth and that this interview was in no way fabricated :kink:

Congrats on making the final, well deserved. It looks like we might be fighting over our XXVI entries though :kink:
