Hafdis :D

I bet that's a challenging listen :heehee: her voice would get annoying after ten minutes

THEY CALL HIM KONGULO.

Or, it could just as easily be Emiliana...

Jungle Drum was from an album that already existed when I sent it, so it must be Hafdis by default

I quick 'listened' to it (just skipping to different places of the songs to get an image of what she's done) and every track is quite different! :o It's an absolutely MASSIVE grower too. If she 'clicks' on you - you're stuck forever loving her (just like me with Marina & The Diamonds :( ) so be careful :kink: Imho.

Might have to add it to my neverending list of things to listen to then!
Robot Robot and I Almost Know A Criminal are extremely good! :o

'6 in a row' launches for Rontvia XXV

After the cryptic clues '1. Jazz, 2. Gina G, 3. Skins' RTVN are ready to announce the three songs in contention to represent FSR Rontvia in the 25th edition of the BuzzJack Song Contest in BaNG. In a mission to achieve a sixth consecutive top ten hit having now acheived three strings of five before a megaflop, the country are keen to avoid a disaster in XXV and are throwing it out to The BuzzJack World to help us to decide on our entry. Here are the three contenders;

Song 1. Caro Emerald - A Night Like This

Dutch Jazz singer Caro Emerald is already a big name in her native Netherlands, scoring a top five hit there with this contemporary catchy jazz pop number, from her debut album 'Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor' She has also done a unique jazz cover of Bad Romance, which can be heard here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0YHapntMfo. Solved clue - it's a jazz crossover song!

Song 2. Kids of 88 - Just A Little Bit

New Zealand electro duo Kids Of 88 have already scored a huge hit there with debut single My House. Infectious new single Just A Little Bit is their second single, but will it appeal to the new male friendly BuzzJack? Solved clue - Gina G also had a single called (Ooh Aah...) Just A Little Bit!

Song 3. Groove Armada feat Will Young - History

British dance duo Groove Armada, responsible for hits such as I See You Baby, Superstylin' and the magnificent Song 4 Mutya, launched their new album recently with the single Paper Romance. My standout on the album is the duet with Will Young, History, an obvious ode to the 80's stylings of Jimmy Somerville, but a fantastic song nonetheless. A bit too subtle for BJSC? Solved clue - Will Young recently appeared in Skins!

I love all 3 tracks, the Will Young track sticks out like a sore thumb its the best of the 3, track 1 I think it will struggle to get into the final it probably DNQ, Track 2 has got potential, on first listen I liked it. My choice would be Track 3

thanks Martin :D glad you like all of them! your opinions are noted!

Caro Emerald – A Night Like This 65/100 Nice but not that good. Could become boring after the '3rd or 4th listen.

Kids Of 88 – Just A Little Bit 60/100 This isn't bad, either. But also not something that would get points from me.

Groove Armada feat. Will Young – History 45/100 Don't like this one too much.

Looks like your lead in my Voting History is in big danger. :kink: :P

Really not feeling History at all :( a sub-par mash up of Song 4 Mutya and I See You Baby tbh

You know what i feel about the other two :kink:

Dayum, I'm seriously in love with all of these  It's difficult to choose.

At a push though I'd say GA & Will first, and Caro second, though I think Caro would do better, and Kids Of 88 would possibly do best? Hope that's some help :kink:

I can't see that I'll send History, although I don't think it sounds at all like I See You Baby :heehee:

merci Tom :D it's between the latter two I expect...but we'll see!

I'll listen to these soon - might nick one off you - on second hand, maybe not, I am inviting you to come listen to my Blank-esque possible entrant. :magic:
