It has been confirmed that Swedish female duo Sheelah (formerly members of Caracola) will be representing FSR Rontvia in BJSC 26 in Hendinia with Psycho, a return to the pure pop routes of the country following dabbles in Jazz and electro-funk in the last couple of months.
Quite good, IMO. :o I thought they were Australian or something with the name Sheelah. :heehee:

I know what you mean :heehee: The girl with the big eyes and blonde hair actually looks Australian somehow :o The other girl is the spitting image of a member of Icelandic girlband Nylon.

Amazing. The chorus is just BANG! I think the power of the chorus is like "Shark In The Water" which became my favourite song of 2009. Smashing choruses =

Blonde hair and big eyes. DOES IT FOR ME.

And me, well most Swedish girls in general do to be fair :kink: Having been there myself I can confirm that they are an attractive crowd :P

FSR Rontvia win foreign song contest on debut attempt

Having entered the VESC contest on the Vanity Edge forums, FSR Rontiva have won first time out with Elsiane's Vaporous, a song considered for BJSC XXIII. In light of this victory, experts in the country are now wondering whether this song would perhaps have outperformed Shackles' 10th place in that contest.

Are they American?

Under section 39 article 9 paragraph 4 of the Buzzjack Union treaty of Sjan Tivor

"FSR Rontvia may only win with songs that contain Love in the title if the act is american"

:o

Paragraph one says Ashton may never win :(

They sound Irish. Only US acts singing 'love songs' provide us with winners. This is pleasant though actually :o Some dire vocals in the chorus though from one of the girls.
Unfortunately, they are Irish. Thankfully we have no idea where they are or what they're doing. And I'm pretty sure they are Louis Walsh's new girl group that people have been panting on about for the past year. DIRE. :(

Quick question, did you end up using Dacia's Muistot in the end? I'm making note of potential future entries for Caerfyrddia :kink:

No, feel free to - great song!

I didn't know you entered VESC! :o Just don't get attached too much to it

Yes, I'm hosting the current one having won on my debut  Sending very different songs to what I send to BJSC! A German language gothic ballad currently
You've settled there for quite a long time then! :o First place every month etc.

I'm not sure how long I'll stay there...there are only 11 entries in the current contest which means I have had to give 1 point by default to a horror of a song under the voting system in use there. :drama: I have made some nice discoveries though!
Where is this site? I could handle a 12 entry contest, and we could arrange a nice little points swap, since we don't do it here or anything
