New National Anthem

Wiley & Chew Fu - Take That

The GRA has announced that the countries national anthem has been changed to Take That by Wiley. A special Ashton mix where the I in the chorus has been changed to Ashton will be used.

"Anybody who thinks Ashton can't do it anymore, better step right back and TAKE THAT!"

The song re-firms the image and strategy for 2010. Ashton really are back with a Bang.

I love Take That  Wiley's a legend

The Avenue, Wearing My Rolex and now this

Wiley was on The Avenue :o Thought it was Dizzee Rascal

As for Samson, maybe it's a grower :kink:

Wiley! Wearing My Rolex is my personal fave though <3

Wack up the Bass, that should help it grow :kink: The full length version is even better than the radio edit

Rob 'mined' the thread to find this quote :heehee:

I actually did, because I could remember him saying it, it just had to be brought up!

As i said earlier

It's on the release schedule?

FUCK

You are hardly in a position to judge anyone on picking a song that is on the release schedule.

Alex Roots was on the Release Schedule :smoke: Ashton doesn't mine the release schedule, it is not a source of inspiration for me unlike so many others. Just happens to be an unfortunate coincidence.

Feel free to find a comment of mine saying I wouldn't pick a song off the release schedule, I don't think I've ever said it - but, you know, you were having a good old moan when your song DNQ'ed, and then there were release-schedule songs in the final which was an absolute travesty or something along those lines - it does come across just a tad hypocritical.

But, you send what you like, I like the song personally - but you do just seem hypocritical for saying those things, and then going ahead to doing them yourself, the song is all over TV channels, and looks like it could get #01 in January. :)

I meant you can hardly talk about picking songs from the release schedule.

"I've survived since the beginning without looking at that thing and i don't intend to start now" - I never looked at the release schedule for Riverside

I moaned about the stuff that made it through these days, 95% of that was levelled at the indie entries. which i have been against for quite some time.

I will never intentionally look at the release schedule for upcoming leaks and use it as a source of discovery. That is what not mining the release schedule means. If the RBW track appears soon, it is likely that if i send it, it'll be on the release schedule when i send it. Not intentional, just co-incidence. Although it's less likely to do well than Riverside.

I've only seen it on MTV Dance and Starz and thats where i saw Fallin' and look how well that did in the chart......

100%

Lyrically it is a very very good fit for Ashton.

I'm just saying that it will look hypocritical, commenting on cheap entries, and then potentially sending a future Top 5 single, by the time the final comes along. I only brought up the statement because it did make me laugh.

I have no idea what is wrong with indie songs being sent either, but I won't go into that.
