That's pretty decent, considering hosts entries are prone to flopping hard. Will semis be back for XXXII by the way? What's the number of entries needed to make semis necessary, just so I'm prepared?

We want enough numbers that we're not knocking out 3 people like in V :kink:

We're looking at around the 40 mark for Semi's. The old points system is back as well. It was supposed to be used for this contest, but i didn't pick up on it in time.

Ha, that one never gets old does it :P Almost as well worn as the Ashton/Rontvia 'vote alliance' that will clearly never be given a rest!

Ok fair enough. Oh is it, how come? :o

With confirmation, I have to send a list of confirmed entries to you every so often do I for you to check them?

XXXII options to be revealed Monday

The ASC has just held a press conference to announce that it will make public Ashton's options for BJSC XXXII in FSR Rontvia on Monday evening. It is expected that this month will contain at least one Scandinavian and it will be of a different genre to Underwear continuing Ashton's recent trend of genre hopping on it's way back to success. The ASC said they were thrilled with 4th position, but were obviously distraught at how close the song got to #3. The SNÁ spokeswoman at the conference said that the options were capable of getting that elusive third place finish for the country.

It's not brought up as often as the 'vote alliance' which doesn't even exist

It's clearly an integral part of the contest now that Ashton and Rontvia will exchange points

For continuity. Was a decision taken by the new mod team. The expanded points system won't work as well with Semi's.

Yeah. Just a list every day or two depending on how many changes or confirmations you get would be ideal.

Well that's what I'm sure most people think it is  Yes indeed!

Fair enough, oh yep - you're right there I'd forgotten about how much crap we used to have to weed out in the semis :heehee:

Ok, sounds fine!

Naturally because we spend weeks planning what points to give each other in which contest  Clearly Ashton should have gotten the Rontvian 13 to beat of Hitch :drama:

We did have so much junk. Hopefully the quality hike wasn't just a one off.

Yes :( Although I definitely loved my top 4 slightly more. You were way ahead of my 10 pointer though and comfortably in my top 5 once again :D

I've been looning over Sheelah since you told me about it. There was no way anyone was going to top that.

 I've been obsessed since the first time I heard it and that middle 8 kicked in. I thought it would be impossible for them to top Psycho but they somehow managed it!

It manages to be instant, yet a grower as well. It's incredible. I preferred Psycho at first but i now prefer The Last Time.

I agree 100%, the second and third time I heard it I was hit even harder with its brilliance

My favourite BJSC entry since Music Everywhere, by a considerable margin :D

The songs have been split into two heats. The top two tracks from the Televote will go Direkt till Morpeth and the next two will go to Andra Chansen. From AC one song will gain a final spot to make a final of 5 tracks.

Anna Lesko - In My Bedroom

Dave Audé feat. Isha Coco - Figure It Out

Claudia Pavel - Crazy

Missy Cirssy - Let Your Love Out

We understand the SNÁ and ASC prefer three tracks to the other entries, but our source was unable to tell us which three.

Heat One will take place on Tuesday, Heat Two will take place on Thursday, Andra Chansen on Saturday with the Grande Finalen on Monday after which Ashton will confirm its entry to host nation FSR Rontvia.

**Note: BJSC Regulation 34a Section 4.6 prohibit the publication of the results from the Super Finalen and SNÁ will announce who the top two are, but the winner won't be announced until Feb 28th**

Hysteria! I was going to put that in my selction process, but I knew you or Rich would take it, so I decided to be nice and let one of you have it! :D I'm happy with Helena Paparizou, J Williams, Edita Abdieski and Miranda Lambert! :P
Well it was already in my selection last month, except Sheelah beat her in the end, which turned out to be a good move evidently  I won't be using her again even though I love it.
