I wish their Christmas songs had better playlist exposure too! Particularly Not Tonight Santa and I Wanna Kiss You So (Christmas in a Nutshell).

The closest they came to managing it was in 2007!

I've also just remembered that one of their Christmas songs appeared in the midweeks in 2007, but ultimately it didn't manage to hold on to the Top 200. That was 'Merry Xmas Everybody', appearing at midweek #135 on Tuesday 4th December 2007 (354 sales). A day later it was down to #170 (380 sales). On Thursday it wasn't midweek Top 200 - the #200 had sold 394. It seems it never re-emerged after that, so I wonder what caused that initial boost in sales for the track?

Would be great if it could reach the 3,5 million mark this year.

I could have sworn I saw it move up to 4th last night but I’ve checked again this morning and it’s 5th.

Now it definitely is up to 4th place!

Its total streams are now 3,431,342. Like Chemistry said, I hope it’s able to pass 3.5m this year!

3,486,763 is its new total, that's an additional 55,421 streams.

Should definitely go over the 3,5 million mark then! :cheer:

Their Spotify average is around 1,7 million which is the highest it's been in a long time, maybe ever?

The Promise has passed 20 million streams on Spotify! The single version that is, as the album version has another 2,4 million.
Good to see the song getting the extra streams as it will all help to keep their actual sales increasing overall even if it is only in small numbers.
And another milestone, Love Machine has passed 40 million streams!

Nicola asked Spotify to change the banner used for Girls Aloud, and it was changed today. Bye bye to the orange dresses from Something New video shoot, and hello to the Out of Control era picture that we’re also using as our BuzzJack banner!

When did 'Jump' become their #1 top played on Spotify? :o

I think just a few days ago! Just noticed it as well.
