Voting Rules

I'll probably vote around Wednesday/Thursday, I need to familiarise myself with the SF1 songs (and the AQs :kink:)

I know everything there is to know about BJSC - any song that's ever been entered - all of the results etc...

 

but I don't understand or even care about the waiting list in any way shape or form :lol: it's probably another rule that can be easily bent depending on the power/prominence of the poster in question :lol:

As I'm on holiday for a week (Chrimbo shopping, etc) from Wednesday I will have time to listen to these and vote well before the deadline.

Rontvia have sent their votes! Definitely a good idea downloading and listening to all 46 entries last week, it was a lot nicer to get to know all of the songs organically than force myself to listen to them all in the final week! I must have listened to all the finalists at least five times each!!! my stats;

you know it's a good final when everything is at least a 7 a la 'good'. 8 means 'very good', 9 means 'excellent', 9.5 means 'amazing' and 10 means 'perfect or damn near it' :wub: definitely another high quality final!

Lorikeet have also voted. Very very difficult, arguably the most difficult final ever i'd say. I'd have happily given points to nearly every song.

It's taking a long while to upload the recap to Youtube bizarrely, but it should be coming soon.. if not, it should certainly be up by tomorrow.

woo Camdonia qualified again, its funny I used to do awful, now I seem to be able to qualify most the time (even if I dont do that great in the final). I'd like to thank Pavel and Zech as they seem to be routing me on. Camdonia uber alles.

Yeah, I noticed that my song was titled "I Lik" in the semis (and now in this), but I thought maybe you'd just lost your spelling skills. :lol:

I can't hear any SF2 entries on the recap either...

There are some differences between rating and voting order. Some song are rated higher, but recieves lower points then other songs with slightly lower ratings.

 

To deserve points - it doesn't all depend on what I like the most, and how I like the songs.. there are several other contest/quality factors to evaluate.

 

 

 

Oh, and Donkeyboy truly deserves to be in the final :heart: :cry:
