Music comes in many different languages, most of which we do not understand. Yet, we can appreciate the melody, the emotion and the meaning of the song just by the vocals or the instrumental. Music is appreciated by millions all over the globe and mainstream artists can take over the world with one special song. However, sometimes it can be difficult for some artists and their music to be heard by these millions. It is the mission of the 49th Buzzjack Song Contest to uncover a few more of those hidden masterpieces. We present to you the Green Room of the 49th Buzzjack Song Contest from here in Cherry Tree City in Ramrynia! This privilege comes courtesy of Aeroche after they secured a third consecutive win last contest. They chose to pass hosting duties down to the runner up Elen Levon meaning Ramrynia are able to host this magnificent song contest! There are a couple of new ideas we plan to bring to this contest, including a return of the showcase that Aeroche wonderfully debuted two contests ago and something that had been in Ramrynia's plans for a long time if we did ever get the chance to host! We hope everyone thoroughly enjoys it! DATES Confirmation | Wednesday 3rd October (7pm) to Wednesday 10th October (7pm) Showcase | Thursday 11th October (8pm) Semi Final Voting | Thursday 11th October (10pm) to Wednesday 17th October (7pm) Semi Final Results | Thursday 18th October (8pm) Final Voting | Thursday 18th October (10pm) to Wednesday 24th October (7pm) Final Results | Thursday 25th October (8pm) (subject to change, UK times) When confirmation opens you will be required to include your country name, artist, song and a video link. Furthermore, I will request that you also send an MP3 of your entry and also your country flag. If you do not send an MP3 you may not get the quality of MP3 you desire and it is likely I will have to resort to a low quality conversion of your video link in some situations. September 26, 201212 yr Ashton has a wealth of potential entries lined up this month. Ashton will be continuing it's current entry strategy for this month before taking a short break for next month. Ashton has had it's 50th entry planned for a number of months.

September 27, 201212 yr I am currently deciding between a few (mostly light airy indie - although I have a bit of trashpop too) tracks, I may request assistance later if I really get stuck, but if people need me to judge their entries, I am happy to. Ryan, what is that font? It just looks so... weird. The logo and the slogan is lovely though, honestly. better than what i could've mustered (i am so not bitter about you beating me into 2nd place at the last moment)

September 27, 201212 yr Despite me risking coming EVER CLOSER to that consecutive DNQ record, I have an entry which I'm fairly confident will appeal to a wider audience, although its the first that may have someone else after it or risk a veto, (yep, I've gone hopelessly mainstream) I certainly wouldn't say its obscure or brand new. Hmmm....I think it'll be one to confirm quickly. I love it anyway and think its, so I'll be really gutted if this is a 6th DNQ.

September 27, 201212 yr Author Thanks for the positive comments! Yeah, I wasn't sure about having a different font, but I just wanted it to look a bit different to the default font on here! The logo is Rockwell (spot on Leww!) and the text underneath is Arial Narrow in case you are interested! :kink: The dates should be up very shortly, so watch out!
