Friendly Fires find themselves climbing a place to no.2 but I can confirm that no.2 is as high as 'Paris' will peak. Still, not bad for a band only just making their TOTB debut. Coldplay are the victims of Friendly Fires, as they slip to 3. A brand-spanking new entry at no.4 comes courtesy of chart regulars Snow Patrol who look to break the top 3 once more with the brilliant 'Crack The Shutters', while Kings Of Leon's efforts to make the top 3 have stalled as they spend a 2nd week at no.5. 'In The Morning' spent a massive 16 weeks in the top ten, and was the first of their 6 top 5 hits uOTTLG_NuaA America Charted: 04-09-06 Peak: No.1 (6 weeks) Easily one of my favourite songs of 2006, this was the first majorly successful song in my chart spending 6 weeks at the top, and more than 20 in my chart - it was still in the top 10 by Christmas/New Year! z1YYD61bplE Before I Fall To Pieces Charted: 27-11-06 Peak: No.1 [2 weeks] Their third consecutive top 2 hit, and second successive no.1, 'Before I Fall To Pieces' managed to bag the Christmas and New Year no.1 spots at the arse end of 06 thanks to its insanely catchy riffs and quirky "retired superheroes" video 8L44-2sZ1RU I Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got Charted: 19-02-07 Peak: No.2 A slightly disappointing release from 'Razorlight', but it very nearly got them a third no.1 in a row when it peaked at no.2 back in March 2007, only being pipped right at the last minute by Maximo Park's 'Our Velocity' b4FBLpfFjVE Hold On Charted: 11-06-07 Peak: No.4 The flopping of 'I Can't Stop...' didn't stop Razorlight milking their album for all it was worth. The least successful of the singles from 'Razorlight', this spent one solitary week in the top 5, and spent just 5 in the chart altogether wegOJS02znY Wire To Wire Charted: 13-10-08 Peak: No.5 (Still charting) After all the buzz about their new album and the lead single from it, Razorlight disappointed with 'Wire To Wire'. So disappointed as Razorlight are one of my fave groups :( Thanks for commenting, anyway :D
