Break Stuff is interesting, it has even charted for 3 days on UK Spotify this year. Never seen any activity for that before.

Top 100 Most Streamed Songs Of The 70s/80s/90s in the UK in 2025
How is Whitney the highest placing artist when Bryan Adams is #12 and MJ and Bruce just behind? Unless they forgot the word "female". Surprised that Summer of 69 is the most streamed song by a solo artist anyway.

Friday Chart Predictions
I don't think being the most popular Christmas song of recent decades is "a free pass".

Friday Chart Predictions
Yes, that is exactly why Amazon is way different to regular playlisting. If a song is #1 on Spotify's Christmas playlist, it still will be played only once unless the user restarts the playlist. Whereas Amazon plays their exclusive track(s) several times among the Christmas classics. That is why we will never see a Spotify exclusive battling for #1. I don't know if the OCC has any way (or will) to tackle that though. It would probably require them to exclude Amazon streams altogether. Would also be interesting to know what Billboard would do about this if it was a thing in the US but somehow the Amazon exclusives never reach high on charts there. Gwen is now charting but nowhere near top 40. Maybe it's the combination of smaller market share at Christmas and the chart rules.

Gaga "making a lot of music", according to her new interview
• She feels reconnected with her fans through The MAYHEM Ball Tour. • The meaning of Brooklyn Nights has evolved over time, and she was genuinely happy to perform it. • She was excited to revisit the album Born This Way through the tour surprise songs because the meaning of this album has also changed for her as the years passed. • During the tour, she reconnected with Lady Starlight, which suggests they had lost touch for a while. • She was happy that Abel (The Weeknd) posted a photo of her on his Instagram story, and she remembers exactly when that picture was taken. When asked about the idea of a collaboration , she simply said: “I love Abel so much and that's all I'm gonna say.” • She has been spending a lot of time in the studio writing and recording music, and it feels good for her to create new songs while on tour. • She is happy that Little Monsters love MAYHEM. She understands that some of her albums were made more for fans and others more for the general public, but this time she feels she achieved both. • She is not worried about AI in music, as she believes it has nothing to do with the authentic and handcrafted nature of human creation. • She is now much more aware of the capacity of the venues and stadiums she fills compared to earlier in her career. She loves putting on big theatrical shows. • She is excited to attend the Grammys and is happy that both MAYHEM and Harlequin received nominations. • She confirmed that The MAYHEM Ball Tour will officially end in April. • As for releasing new music in 2026, it will depend on her studio momentum and inspiration, essentially on how well the album progresses.

'The Fame' ● Album Discussion Thread ● Part 2
There is still some habit of people buying physical albums as present to music fans which is why several "weirder" old albums are in top 75 (Nirvana, Stone Roses, Jeff Buckley..) I think this will return into top 75 in two weeks.
