I’m just glad it got that one week otherwise I’d be fuming.
  2. Need Olivia Dean to have her rightful spot at number one next week on the Hot 100.
  3. Yeah I only heard it for the first time the other day and it wasn’t memorable in the slightest.
  4. Ok thanks so much!
  5. Is there a difference in the weighting of Spotify/AM streams towards chart sales versus what used to be YouTube views? For example, would 1 million Spotify streams be worth more/less or the same as 1 million YouTube streams?

Yeah I agree it would’ve been nice for Lily’s team to push harder for this.

Disappointed in DWAS getting nominated despite being released in 2024 when Abracadabra was right there.
  8. What does the OCC have to gain from only releasing some of the sales totals?
  9. Definitely agree re Sienna, she could have a big year ahead of her but I think a lot is riding on the Brits and the opportunity to showcase herself.

I can’t help but root for older acts who have the odds stacked against them and give it their all for a number one. It’s just nice to see some good old grafting and hunger for it.
  11. There’s absolutely no way DWAS shouldn’t have been a UK number 1. The label could’ve done it with little effort but they let it go.
  12. Thanks for the excellent rundown. I thought I would be interesting to dissect the numbers a bit more: Released in the 2020s: 33 Released before the 2020s: 67 Male solo artist: 42 Female solo artist: 35 Group: 23 British artist: 37 International artist: 63 Studio Album: 64 Compilations: 36
  13. Thanks for the heads up, I’ve edited my vote too
