  1. 3 is still harsh but we'll accept it
  2. I thought Abba were in trouble too, but as I've been reminded, votes carry over from the first round so even if they finished bottom this round, they'll be fine for now!
  3. What an absolutely solid set of pop songs! 11 Christina Aguilera - Genie In A Bottle 07 Sugababes - In The Middle 09 Kylie Minogue - Spinning Around 10 Rachel Stevens - Sweet Dreams My LA Ex 10 Avril Lavigne - Complicated 06 Atomic Kitten - Ladies Night 08 Destiny's Child - Survivor 07 Girls Aloud - Jump 09 P!nk - Get The Party Started 08 Mis-Teeq - Scandalous 10 Jennifer Lopez - Jenny From The Block 10 Holly Valance - Kiss Kiss 07 Lumidee - Never Leave You (Uh Oooh!) 09 Christina Milian - AM To PM 09 Anastacia - I'm Outta Love 07 Delta Goodrem - Born To Try 06 Hilary Duff - So Yesterday 06 Kelly Clarkson - Miss Independent 10 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder On The Dancefloor 08 Amy Studt - Misfit 10 Emma Bunton - Maybe 07 Stacie Orrico - (There's Gotta Be) More To Life 10 t.A.T.u. - All The Things She Said
  4. I may not have my votes ready just yet but rest assured that I am very much enjoying the party and have been throwing some shapes on the dancefloor all afternoon to these undeniable bops! (although admittedly my feet had no idea what to do when 'Skibidi' came on :/ )
  5. Oh I forgot about the combined votes!
  6. Abba could be in trouble looking at the early votes
  7. I've lost count of the number of IG videos he's made to the bridge/chorus of this song now. And it's done the intended job perfectly cos I literally cannot get the song out of my head! It better be coming this Friday, I need the full song ASAP!!
  8. 'Shining Light' is quite the banger, I remember it was considered a bit of a return to form at the time, it certainly returned them to the top 10 after a less successful era. 'Who You Are' is pretty good I guess if a little screechy at times. Not fussed about the other three dropouts today, I don't get the love for 'Flux' one bit.
  9. Mangø posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Calvin looking fairly safe for top 40 then, unlike Shakira-Shakira
  10. I probably missed it but what's the reason this has come back?
  11. My votes: 01 Lily Allen - Who’d Have Known (fave) 02 Kesha - Blow 03 Michelle Branch - You Set Me Free 04 Toni Braxton - You’re Makin’ Me High 05 Chappell Roan - Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl 06 Nadia Oh - Taking Over the Dancefloor 07 Delta Goodrem - Sitting On Top of the World 08 Kelly Clarkson - Gone 09 Nelly Furtado & Tiësto - Who Wants to Be Alone 10 ROSALÍA - DIABLO 11 LiSA - Gurenge (紅蓮華) 12 FKA twigs - Glass & Patron This was definitely the weakest category for me in this round. The Nadia Oh song was a marked improvement on the one from the Earth round, but for me it was a step down for Delta, Kelly and Nelly!
  12. My votes: 01 Conan Gray - Killing Me (but there's even better from this album!) 02 The Weeknd - A Lesser Man (nice to hear something more chilled out from him, definitely feels under-rated) 03 Troye Sivan - Strawberries & Cigarettes (great discovery) 04 Shawn Mendes - Lost in Japan (Zedd Remix) 05 David Bowie - Young Americans 06 Eric Saade - Every Minute 07 Ruel - Not What’s Going On 08 George Michael - Freeek! (one of my least favourite singles by him) 09 Fred again.. - Berwyn (all that i got is you) 10 Guitarricadelafuente & Troye Sivan - midsummer pipe dream 11 Markus Riva - Forever 12 Nik Kershaw - Gone to Pieces (really like the last one but couldn't get into this one at all, soz)
  13. And for my votes, we have: 01 Ace of Base - Beautiful Life (fave) 02 Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama 03 Blondie - Hanging On the Telephone 04 Erasure - So the Story Goes 05 Florence + the Machine - Queen of Peace 06 Atomic Kitten - If You Come to Me 07 The Corrs - I Never Loved You Anyway 08 The 1975 - Love Me 09 Girlicious - Over You 10 The Chicks - Not Ready to Make Nice 11 HAIM - I Know Alone 12 ABBA - Hole in Your Soul (least fave, soz) The top 3 are bonafide pop classics and were always gonna be untouchable, but the Erasure song was a very good discovery! I'm surprised I didn't know it as I have heard the album it's from (which also contains one of my absolute favourite Erasure songs so we'll see if it makes an appearance soon). I'm not a huge fan of Florence but that song just happens to be one of three songs I really like from her. The Girlicious and Chicks songs were marginal improvements from the ones sent in the Earth round. The Abba risk paid off in the Earth round but this one just didn't do anything for me, sorry to whoever sent it.
  14. Yeah, I was gonna ask the same thing! If 'Try' gets sent, that would possibly trump any song by any other female here for me!
