Can't wait to see how comically off I was with these predictions 😭 - Oasis drop a new single, landing straight in at #1 for quite a few weeks. - No new Oasis material despite the tour, but they have been rumoured to be doing the next Bond theme - Oasis also drop an album which sells 300K+ first week - Totally incorrect oop - A song by Madness reappears in the top 40 thanks to being featured in a film/tv show - I think I had a funny feeling that 'Our House' might go viral for no particular reason, how random 💀 - The Weeknd and Central Cee get into a massive albums chart battle with The Weeknd pipping Cench to the top (I can hope x) - Well, the first week album battle of Weeknd vs Central Cee never happened actually, since Abel delayed his album for a week due to the horrendous California wildfires back in January, helping them both secure a #1 album - 'Wake Me Up' by The Weeknd becomes his first solo top five hit since 'Save Your Tears - A 'Wake Me Up' stan can wish I guess lol. It never even came close to charting haha, still a massive banger. Top notch production from Justice as always x - Doechii scores a top 40 hit - Finally a correct prediction! Doechii actually scored 4 top 40 hits in 2025, her breakout year. Including 'Anxiety' being a huge hit, despite it definitely being amongst her worst works unfortunatly. - KSI returns with a hilariously bad UK #1 album - Only a couple of shitty singles from KSI this year, thankfully no album - Mac Miller posthumously scores his first top five album with 'Balloonerism' - As much as it deserved to land in the top five, because it is an incredible record, the album peaked at #16 - #1 albums for: Robbie Williams, Franz Ferdinand, Manic Street Preachers, Inhaler, Doves, Sam Fender, Lady Gaga, James Arthur & The Lathums in Q1 - Was quite off here, only #1 albums for Robbie, Gaga & Sam - Lana Del Rey will delay her upcoming studio album - This one is unsurprisingly accurate, the album now titled 'Stove' I think has been maybe scrapped? idk - Ed Sheeran will return with his "big pop album" but thankfully it will only be as commercially successful as '-' - The first part is true, but 'Play' was more successful than '-' I would say - Sam Fender sells 70K+ with 'People Watching + he scores the Christmas #1 with an Amazon Original - Again, first part was correct, Sam sold over 100K! But no Amazon original from Sam this year, Kylie scored the #1 with one instead! - Miley Cyrus returns but without a smash hit a la 'Flowers' - Indeed. 'Something Beautiful' was an amazing album but no massive hits ('End Of The World' deserved) - We finally receive 'Don't Be Dumb' and 'I AM MUSIC' by A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti respectively. - The Carti album did arrive, titled as just 'Music' and the A$AP record is out next month supposedly (i'm not getting my hopes up) - Lady Gaga x The Weeknd on Gesaffelstein production is single #3 from LG7 and becomes a top 3 hit - No Gaga x Weeknd collab this year (although I think it might be on the cards for 2026?) but we did see Gaga on Gesaffelstein production on 'Killah', which is a massive banger icl - First #1 albums for J. Cole & Playboi Carti - Indeed a #1 album for Carti, but no Cole album this year - Gracie Abrams gets the first #1 of the year - Yup - Bruno Mars returns with a multi-week #1 solo single - No solo material from Bruno again this year, except for than Brazillian meme song or whatever that was - Dave finally returns with a HUGE album in Q3 - Yes, but in Q4. A decently huge album I would say, 'Raindance' looks like it could be in contention for the top soon! - 'Reputation (TV) drops and underperforms by Taylor's usual standards. She also surprise drops an album of fresh material in November - No more Taylor's versions for now, but a new album did drop, in October not November though and it wasn't a surprise drop. - Chappell Roan scores the chart double with a new album - No new Chappell album for a while apparently, but 'The Subway' did dance its way to #1 this year, what a stunner of a song ❤️ - A Kenny Mason song charts in the top 100 - Nope - Pulp return with new music which subsequently charts in the top 40 - Correct! New Pulp material this year, but this highest charting track only reached #98 - The highly-anticipated comeback album from My Chemical Romance is released in Q4 - No new album, but a Black Parade tour next year!!! - A legendary musician dies sending one of their songs back into the top 3 - So many legends passed away this year, but most notably no Black Sabbath songs returned to the top three following Ozzy's death 😢 - Noah Kahan returns with a new album and a top 5 hit single - No new Noah material, but an album on the way I believe?
  2. Crazy to think that over BuzzJack's existence, Kylie has never been number one! Until now!!! Well done Kylie 🔥
  3. 'War Pigs' to finally chart please 🙏 It's so unfortunate how relevant that song remains to this day...
  4. I would say left wing, nothing less and nothing more than that. There are some issues where I at times shift towards the centre but my personal politics are typically progressive and anti-establishment.
  5. I hope Trump now feels happy with himself about his constant attacks upon former President Biden... This is truly a shame, people can say what they want about Biden's political career but I truly believe that he is truly a decent and kind-hearted man so it is pretty sad to hear of this diagnosis. I hope he can hold on for as long as possible so he can spend as much time as possible with his family <3 What a tragedy that of the two presidents that the US has had over the past 5 years it had to be Biden that developed a diagnosis as horrible as this.

Much like a lot of the artists on Opium, I find his music to be incredibly unoriginal. I'd argue that he has slightly improved as an artist since he started getting proper recognition (around 2022) but his music does feel a lot of the time like a cheap parody of songs off of 'Whole Lotta Red' by Playboi Carti. It's all very homogenous and truthfully I really don't see the appeal He's become a pretty successful rapper - #1 album in the USA, headlining Wembley Arena, but I'd question how much of that success is natural. His success really just comes off of riding Carti's coattails, I'm pretty confident that none of us would've heard of him without Carti imo.
  7. Fantastic to see Charli sweep ❤️ Long live the 'BRAT' era and here's to what she has for us next!
  8. "This is gonna be great television" Utterly sickening and unbelievable.

  10. awwww, shame for Rosé and Bruno Mars after all these weeks at #2 but still this is a huge accomplishment for Lola :cheer: I wouldn't say that I'm a massive fan of 'Messy' but it is a well-deserved chart-topper anyway x
  11. Justin Trudeau has resigned as Canadian PM https://edition.cnn.com/world/live-news/can...6-25/index.html
  12. My optimistic predictions for 2025: By the end of 2025, Starmer has recovered a healthy polling lead over his closest competition, the Tories. Reform begin to lose support due to inner conflict and some major controversy I suppose... In Canada, the Conservatives win the election with a large majority of +60 seats. Additionally, the Liberals are humiliated to a greater extent as the New Democratic party secure a higher percentage of the popular vote than the Liberal Party (although the latter party still wins more seats overall). In Germany, the CDU come out as victors in the February election, winning about 240 seats. The SPD also over-perform their polling figures, exceeding expectations to hold a significantly higher proportion of seats in comparison to AFD. As expected, a coalition is formed between CDU and SFD to control a majority in German government. In Australia, Labor exceed the polls and only stray a few seats behind the Liberal/National Coalition who are just short of a majority. The Green Party may have a key part to play in forming a majority for either government. In the USA, Trump's support begins to expire almost instantly due to unpopular decisions, controversy, his usual breaches of Democracy etc. Trump's application of MAGAnomics also sends inflation on the rise once again due to high tariffs on foreign goods. The razor thin majority in the HOR makes it hard for Trump to pass his agenda and hence makes him look incredibly weak. By June, Mike Johnson has been ousted as speaker of the HOR. This begins to set the stage nicely for 2026 where (yes, I'm optimistically calling it now) the Dems will win back a majority of over 230 seats in the HOR, make a senate gain of two seats (Maine and North Carolina, additionally Ohio, Iowa and Florida could be in play but its quite unlikely that they would shift left considering that those states haven't elected a Democrat senator since the Obama era, excluding Sherrod Brown in 2018) and a gubernatorial gain of Nevada and Georgia. After some speculation, Kamala Harris does not decide to run for governor of California and instead prepares to launch a 2028 presidential bid in 2026. Throughout 2026, Harris becomes the clear frontrunner for the Democratic nomination in 2028 with Pete Buttigieg acting as her closest competition in the polls. Vance also leads the polls for the Republican nomination. Lastly, the two 2025 gubernatorial elections (New Jersey and Virginia) are dare I say, landslides for Democracts? + a former UK Prime Minister dies :o
  13. 'Feel Good Inc' being sampled on a Aitch x Bou song? hell nah
  14. Not 'Bad Habits' being played on the albums rundown, I truly detest that song with every atom of my body! Hadn't heard this re-working of 'Dirty Cash (Money Talks)' until now. Nothing special but it does its job xx. At least it's pretty much stayed the same aesthetically to the original and not drastically ruined the song for us x
