Yeah I really respect it. I mean, 7 month old song, video on YouTube, releasing on a monday, announced on april fools day where some people thought she was joking, no physicals despite shooting the video last month. Like, it's almost tailor made to not impact the charts

It would be kinda funny if she got 2 significant actresses together, got them into makeup and costume, got out the expensive cameras, just to do a fake music video teaser I mean I wouldnt want it to be fake but it would be funny

It's definitely one of the songs I go back to the most. "I promise none of this is a metaphor, I just want you to come inside" to me is the funniest lyric she's ever written

It wasnt really a single. The label promoted it because thats what was easy to promote as a song that the majority of people hadn't heard. Sabrina's part of it was to throw it on streaming in the middle of christmas week. She probably picked the worst day if her goal was to make it successful. In Sabrina's vision, I'd reckon House Tour is really only the 3rd single after Manchild and Tears

Thanks! I get dumb & Poetic, Couldn't make it any harder, and bad reviews not getting there yet. Love dumb & poetic but its not exactly a song you put on replay, and the other 2 being deluxe tracks, hard to get there. But man, Lie to Girls deserves the world. One of the best sonically and her most introspective song on the album

Deserved more, sugar talking is probably the song i think about most from MBF Out of curiosity, what do SnS certs look like? Are they all silver yet?

Yeah I dont think it's that surprising at all. Short n sweet was a record breaking album in terms of longevity in the top 5, you arent likely to get close to that with a followup it doesnt matter who you are
