I feel like this year is way more open than people think. There’s no obvious runaway winner, and a lot will depend on how things translate live. Finland for example feels very “moment-based” – if the staging hits, it could do really well, but I can also see it underperforming slightly with juries. Greece is interesting because it could pick up a strong televote, but I’m not fully convinced it has the broad appeal needed to win overall. Right now it feels like one of those years where a strong live performance could completely change the odds.
