Wednesday at 06:191 day A woman playing violin in a dramatic song with literal fire as part of staging. There’s absolutely no big appeal here at all lmao
Wednesday at 07:241 day Some good bets in there, like Greece and Ukraine. Bear in mind these two songs will also be appreciated by many of this year’s returning countries so the Western countries might be less dominant with no e.g. Ireland, Iceland, Netherlands who would have backed Finland in a big way.Unfortunately Finland is not that amazing for me either but I do understand the odds as I could see it doing well on both jury and televote (without winning either), whereas with everything else they feel more geared to one metric or the other.Blind loyalty would have me put a bet on Australia but realistically I don’t see Delta getting a big enough televote to contend. Hopefully she will pull a legendary staging out of the bag (I already know the vocal will be good).France can’t be ruled out due to this recently turning into the Operavision Song Contest in terms of winners, and Monroe is immensely talented (although this song also isn’t for me, but neither was JJ’s song).
Wednesday at 09:501 day Haven't listen to Finland so far. I really love the entries from Sweden, Australia, and UK. Cyprus is OK and dislike the song from Germany.I hope Felicia will make it. ;)
Wednesday at 12:041 day listening to a few more songs this weekI like Estonia but understand why it’s so low in the rankings (it will never be someone’s fave)Ukraine is nice but not superb Moldova - I feel like they have become a parody of themselves…
Wednesday at 13:251 day Gonna give the songs a listen now...Lolz to Linda and Pete being faves 🤣 sounds like a couple who'd be on Coach Trip
Wednesday at 13:411 day Finland eas waaay better last year... and she was also a favourite. Then she flopped. I hope France wins and Australia and UK come top 15.
Wednesday at 14:061 day Don't get how Finland are faves! Linda and Pete's song sounds mess - Finland's entry last year was so much better. France is good though! Like Norway too - although only half way through on a listen. How are Greece top 5 in the betting - its awful

Wednesday at 15:401 day Just now, Dobbo said:Bulgaria being slept on, issa "banga"I'm just doing a listen though now... it didn't do a huge amount for me - maybe that will change when I see the performance 🤣Vanilla Ninja is a bit of a bop though!
Wednesday at 16:141 day I really can't see a non-English language song winning it as it's just so rare. It's only happened 4 times this century and one of those (Stefania) was under unique circumstances so there's a huge hurdle already for the likes of Finland, France & Denmark. But then it feels too much of a novelty that Australia would ever win Eurovision so can't see that happening either. Tricky one to call, could be a big outsider that takes it like when Rise Like A Phoenix was originally low in the odds prior to the live performances in its year.
Wednesday at 18:101 day I think that's the concern with Finland really, juries almost always back English language songs as their favourite (Switzerland won the jury in 2021 but it was a very effective ballad, extremely well sung - the kind of thing jurors eat up) so it's unlikely to win that vote, and Monroe and Delta are surely too good vocally for them not to place above Finland. Both are also very confident and engaging performers, so it's not like they'll just be standing there giving a powerful vocal and nothing else. While over on the televote it feels like Greece and Israel stand a far better chance than Finland, so at best Finland probably would be third on each metric, which could well be enough for a consensus, and I think that's what the bookies are betting on. As it stands, I suspect France or Israel are the frontrunners for the overall win, bearing in mind Australia's usual struggles in the public vote (as delighted as I would be to see Delta smash it for them on the televote in a Sam Ryder fashion), with Greece, Ukraine and Finland also in the mix there, but why Finland is such a dominant odds on favourite, I'm not really sure. It could go several ways but it's very hard to tell what the jury will do with Finland, so feels like a risky favourite. Edited Wednesday at 18:121 day by gooddelta
Wednesday at 18:461 day I can see Finland absolutely cleaning up, the reason it's stayed as strong favourite is its potential to appeal highly on the televote while absolutely getting a good jury score, it is a very very good package of drama that will undoubtedly be a highlight wherever it is placed.has very quickly become one of my favourites despite listening far less than usual this year so I'm slightly biased but they would be a great winner.
Wednesday at 18:501 day Greece could connect, but the clearly AI video has soured me on it and I don't know how well it will really go down as a crowd pleaser, I feel there are stronger possibles for rowdy nonsense this time? Moldova, even the UK.I feel the Israel effect will be lesser this year if only because those people have been quieter since Iran. But it's a better song on paper than the last two years so could easily be in there, that's what they're hoping for at least. Also that many of the rest don't sound like huge hits, or at least have something about them that might penalise them.if I were betting, Israel is probably the smart bettor's choice but idk if I want to do that.

From those I have not heard before, I liked the Vanilla Ninja song most - what a BOP - how can this stand 1 to 500? France on the other hand might have found the right formula by morphing chanson with JJ elements. Worst song definitely from Moldova.

Worst song definitely from Moldova.the one I would LOVE to see do better but I am expecting nothing from is Latvia, still in a glorious indie streak from them.I don't see Vanilla Ninja going anywhere, I cringed upon listening to it sadly, a far cry from their first entry. France feels like it'll do their standard thing of coming close but ultimately missing.
